PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDE

This is an internal guide for photographing taxis within ROVA. Our format is purely a visual

medium and as you’re probably aware, it is most effective up close and personal. Our clients love to see their campaigns in action, but unfortunately teleporting hasn’t happened yet. So...

Why is this guideline necessary?

Because the photos we take of our taxi campaigns are vital in showing who we are and how we are seen. The client is spending

thousands of advertising dollars (not just on taxis either) so they expect to see our format working for their campaign.

We need to show that our format is the format of choice and it was money well spent - so that’s why we need

GREAT PHOTOS.

The whole purpose of these photos is to give a general perspective of how the campaign looks in the city they have booked. They want to see their cabs in action!

So... lets not limit ourselves to multiple photos in the one taxi base.

Requirements, Tips & Tricks

- Please ensure that the minimum photo size is approx 1024px X 768px

- When using a flash - a diffuser is necessary to avoid blowing out the detail on the panel. Try a DIY difuser using a sheet of paper or

plastic.

- For DSLR’s, a shutter speed of 1/100 & faster is best when trying to capture moving vehicles

- Low ISO (100 - 400) in conjunction with a flash is best

when shooting at night

- Send photos via Wetransfer.com to [email protected]
