TRANSITION PROFILES They allow a smooth transition between two similar or different oor coverings. They might be at same level or cause a difference in height. DINAC is offering a suitable technical and aesthetical solution for any of those cases.

STOPPING PROFILES They board and stop oor coverings, walls and kitchen boards, ... and are part of the interior decoration.

WAYS OF FITTING : Screw down, self adhesive, invisible tting, simultaneous tting. MATERIALS : Stainless steel, coated steel, brass, mill nish, gold anodised aluminium, wood synthetic materials, metal proles with deco lm.

Most proles can be lacquered on request.

Select appropriate trim according to type of oor covering. For ceramic tiles, parquet/laminate and PVC oorings it is possible to use self adhesive or invisible tting trims. Both tting types allow expansion of parquet and laminate oors. For carpets, screw down tting should be used.

These trims are screwed down without any visible screw thus providing technical performance and perfect nish. The head of the nail screw slides into a goove located underneath the prole. It allows the prole to swing around and adapt exactly to oor covering thickness. Millons of proles using this tting system which received a golden medal at Batimat Innovation contest and is patended in Europe have been already successfully installed. Parquet oorings can move freely. Some colours available in 83 or 93 cm length within the DIY range.

They have been designed according to intended type of use : residential, medium duty, heavy duty. Products are proposed in different widths, materials and colours. They can be screwed down, embedded, glued down, xed via adhesive according to specic requirements. They cover any technical requirement and adapt to most nancial possibilities.

WAYS OF FITTING According to nosing prole type, different ways of tting are proposed : - SCREW DOWN FITTING : supplied countersunk drilled or punched. - GLUE DOWN FITTING : the right type of glue, adapted to support and prole should be used for sticking down on installation site. - SELF ADHESIVE FITTING : with factory tted Dinac BUTYL base adhesive. It is advised to heat up the support when xing the prole. - SIMULTANEOUS FITTING : the prole is xed while laying down the oor covering.

TYPE OF PROFILES - Bevelled edges for surface mounting : nosing proles with bevelled edge can be installed on any type of oor covering in case of new or renovated stair cases. - Straight edges for mounting ush to oor covering : prole selection according to thickness of oor covering.

CURVING All curves are carried out in the factory according to a site made template and a technical data sheet. In order to make sure that bent prole will t exactly, very precise information has to be provided. A bending data sheet which will help you to carry out the cutting of the template is at your disposal on request.

An expansion joint is an opening within a structure at predertermined locations, designed to absorb movements of the structure. Those movements have different origins : thermal (caused by temperature changes within the structure), seismic (caused by earthquake activity beneath the structure), wind (high winds forcing the structure to sway).
