Social skills and competences As Art Director of ‘VisionQuest thirteen’ I was assertive and appreciative of each members role within the team, working closely to tackles task, efficiently and this high standard film has now been premiered worldwide. I am enthusiastic and supportive, which was integral to my groups ability to make ingenuine and risk taking work at the National Theatre. Being friendly and confident makes me an approachable intermediate within public contexts, this enabled me to engage with participants aswell as manage the interacive art activity at the ‘BBC NOW‘ event.

Organisational skills and competence

In demanding and fast paced environments for example the filmset of ‘VisionQuest thirteen’ I remain professional, punctual and organised maintaining communication between suppliers, directors and assistants, assuring props and costumes arrive on time and are distributed accordingly. For the CSAD Exhibition, I sourced the correct materials on time and arranged schedules with technicians, assuring installation spaces and objects were built to the deadline.

Technical skills and competences Safe use of workshops and power tools; jigsaw and drill, basic joinery, assisting the building of installation rooms and plinths, hand and machine embroidery, armitures, clay and shadow puppets for stop motion film or live performance, costume, prop and set making and painting, theatrical make up, hair and body paint.

Computer skills and competences Animation, film editing and producing on FinalCut pro. Book, leaflet and poster design, editing and producing for print on Photoshop and InDesign.

Artistic skills and competences I was awarded a First Class BA Hons for my degree in Illustration. I can lead in depth research projects and support enquiiries and writing with theoretical underpinning. I can effectively communicate characters, concepts and narratives through visual imagery and quality of aesthetics with a visual language that references culture, art movements and eras, applying and experimenting with these methodologies in a range of mediums and contexts such as film and Theatre. I consider aspects of a space and experience with the aim to create transending environments and dialogical experiences. I relish collaboration with other artists and use innovative processes to make risk-taking, memorable work.cvThese have been recognised by the National Theatre and exhibited at such venues and events; Sherman Theatre and Creative Festivals such as Secret Garden Party.
