Automatic equipments for water filtration

Every Aquator water cleaning & treating system is specially designed for a specific goal, depending on the raw water quality, so that they could provide quality water in accordance with the strictest requirements. Aquator systems are designed, executed and installed in accordance with the requirements of the European norms. Post sale service is provided. Automatic water filtration equipments can be classified into: - Water treatment compact units; - Containerized water purification units; - metallic multimedia filters; - metallic softeners.

Water treatment compact units

General information:

- designed to treat water from unpolluted natural sources, with a content of maximum 500 mg/l suspensions; - semi-automatic operation, allowing shut-off/start-up according to demands of treated water; - ideal for water supply of small communities (villages, hotels, holiday parks, residential areas, industry); - flow rate: 5 m /h – 50.0 m /h.

Containerized water purification units

General information:

- designed to treat water from natural sources equipment installed in a container, sized according to raw water quality); - ideal for water supply of small communities (villages, residential areas, holiday parks, industry); - flow rate: 5 mc /h – 60.0 mc/h.

Metallic Multimedia filters

Active carbon automatic filters:

- filter water through a layer of active carbon placed over a sand layer; - are designed to remove iron, organic matter and residual chlorine from water; - improve water color, taste and odor; - the most important characteristics are: the contact time of water and the active carbon, the height of the filtering layer.

Quartz sand filters:

- designed to filter solid suspensions that cause water turbidity: sand, sludge, rust. - filtration through several layers of quartz sand of various grain size.

Single and Duplex metallic softeners

Description:

- designed to reduce water hardness by eliminating the calcium and magnesium ions; - operation based on the replacement of Ca and Mg ions with Na ions and their reactivation with NaCl.

Gate valves:

- are special devices mounted on pipes, containers and installations for fluids transport pipes - are designed to close, distribute, control and adjust their parameters.

Description:

The body and the bonnet of the gate valves are made of ductile cast iron EN-GJS-400-18 according to SR EN 1563 (GGG 40-DIN 1693) or grey cast iron EN-GJL-250 according to SR EN 1561. The guide is secured through a system of lateral fins meant to distribute the burden equally and to reduce the shutting off period and the risk of wearing out. Reliable rubber coated seat, allows a perfect sealing. The sealing is realized in both ways. The corrosion protection is realized by an epoxy powder layer - min. 250 µ. - below ground assembling: rigid extension spindle and protection box; - manhole assembling: handwheel. When mounted on HDP pipes, the valves are equipped with flanged adaptors.

Hydrants Underground and above ground hydrants are designed for connection to water distribution networks of up to 10 bar pressure. They are mounted vertically, with a closed obturator, by a flanged fitting according to ISO 7005-1999. Underground hydrants allow the connection of a portable hydrant for firefighting. Above ground hydrants are used for connecting firefighting hoses or motor pumps, etc.

Types of hydrants:

The above ground as well as the underground hydrants are classified according to their nominal diameter (DN 65, 80, 100), to the types of the sockets (A and B) and to the underground length (1, 1.25, 1.50 m). The above ground hydrants may be shatterable and non-shatterable. Accessories:

- flange duck foot (for the above ground and the underground hydrants); - protection box (for the underground hydrants).
