Here you will be asked to give the extension an extension number, name, password (phone and web) and e-mail address. Make sure to set the extention to Mail Only under Extension Type. Click Update when you’re finished.

Navigate to Admin > Auto-Attendant.

Set your Mail Only Extension as the Operator Extension and click Update.

In addition, depending on how your system is set up to route calls, Robo Dialers can sometimes leave lengthy “Dead Air” voicemails. If this is happening, we recommend using the “Hang up” option after voicemail. This will keep the Robo Dialer from looping back into the beginning of your system (Auto-Attendant) and creating an endless loop.

First, on the Admin > Auto-Attendant screen, click on Advanced Configuration.

Under Auto-Attendant Replay, edit to play greeting 2 times and select Transfer to operator. Under Return to Auto-Attendant, select Hang up and then click Update.
