DEN AKTUELLE KYSTDEBAT

Presented in Baud-Bovy and Lawson’s publication Tourism and Recreational Development: Handbook of Physical Planning (1976: 35).
KRITIK AF EN UNUANCERET DEBAT
Karakteriseret af en upræcis brug af referencer +
ureflekteret diskussion af ‘det autentiske’ (turistoplevelse / kystlandskab)
Butler’s diagram from 1980 concerning the “Hypothetical evolution of a tourist area”. Butler is referring to the letters as ‘implications’. The direction of the curve, after consolidation and stagnation, is open to several interpretations. (Illustration reproduced from Butler, 1980: 7).
OPSUMMERING I FORHOLD TIL DEN OVERORDNEDE TILGANG: (AARCH’s Rolle & Bidrag)
- Vi forsøger at supplere ’the reason to go’ – med en ’reason to stay’ (positiv udviklingsspiral)
