JOB OBJECTIVE:

EXPERIENCE: Over the years my experience has mainly been in Forest Industry related design and drafting. At both Carroll Hatch and Anthony Seaman I gained much working experience in sawmill design. At Precision Services and Engineering work there was related to O.S.B. mills. For the past few years I have been working on detail design of Lineal Log Merchandisers as well as many engineering projects for Murray-Pacific. I have been working in AutoCAD for approximately 25 years and have a great knowledge of computers.

WORK EXPERIENCE: SKS Engineering (Dec 1st. 2010 – April 29th 2016) Burnaby, BC Work done at SKS Engineering was mainly the design and drafting of sawmills. (Mechanical Draftsman using AutoCAD 2005) Ferenco Engineering (Nov. 2007 – July 2010) Delta, BC Limestone crushing plants, lime production facilities. I did both structural and mechanical drafting for this company. (Mechanical and Structural Draftsman using AutoCAD 2006)

Axxent Engineering (June. 2006 – Oct. 2007) Surrey, B.C. The forestry branch of U.M.A. was sold and became Axxent Engineering (Mechanical Draftsman using AutoCAD 2000) Work done at U.M.A. was mainly the design and drafting of residual conveyors and rake-back conveyors and other equipment for O.S.B. (Oriented Strand Board) plants as well as structural steel and structural foundations.

Murray-Pacific Design Services (Apr. 1998 – Dec, 1999) Richmond, B.C. (Intermediate Mechanical / Structural Draftsman using AutoCAD R14) At Murray-Pacific I worked on a sawmill project designing different equipment for the mill such as residual conveyors, distribution conveyors and transfer tables. I did both structural and mechanical work. Also, I helped develop the Murray-Pacific ‘lineal log merchandiser’ and ‘log centering conveyor’ by doing detailed drawing of all parts for these machines. Precision Services and Engineering and, Raute Wood (Dec. 1992 - Apr. 1998) Richmond, B.C., and New Westminster, B.C. (Intermediate Mechanical & Structural Draftsman, using AutoCAD R14.) The work I did for P.S. & E. included both mechanical and structural drafting and design of O.S.B. plants. I started there working on the drafting board and then using AutoCAD for about 3 years. Mechanical work included equipment such as residual conveyors, roll cases, distribution conveyors and rake-back conveyors. My structural experience was mainly in the layout and detailing of walkways but also included concrete foundations for equipment such as flakers. P.S. & E. was purchased by Raute Wood and moved to New Westminster. I continued working on O.S.B. plants for a while and then started working on a L.V.L. (Laminated

Veneer Lumber) plant. I produced detailed shop drawings, for equipment which was built in our shop. I gained experience using a parts database called Minx.
