BITS Pilani, Dubai, U A E: Served three yrs as faculty member for regular
teaching, research & supervision of Practice Schools in industries. Guided more than ten students for PSII Projects at BITS Pilani Dubai campus during 2007-2010.The student education in PS-II is in terms of his involvement in the problem- solving efforts of direct interest to the host organizations. The necessary assignments are identified by the PS faculty in prior consultation with professional experts from the host organizations before the students arrive on the scene. Problems so chosen are normally assigned to student(s). The professional expert interested in a given problem and the Campus’s PS faculty plays the roles of consultant and supervisor respectively. The students are encouraged to take independent decisions and are required to defend the technical credibility of the work from time to time through written as well as oral presentations. All along the programme a strong attempt is made to emphasize the importance of teamwork, the need for leadership qualities, and the need to fulfil a time schedule. It is a complete one semester programme
