I write to you today to recommend Mr. Sushil Koirala for the 4th
GB Panta Memorial Award-2015. I have known Mr. Koirala for over
four years in various capacities. Mr. Koirala has good academic
career over the past three years and his marks speak volumes for
it. He has also served as the General Secretary of NEFTSA, Pokhara
and has been a vital part of executive committee for the last three
years. Mr. Koirala is a thoughtful, experienced, and qualified
student leader who deserves formal recognition.As NEFTSA Pokhara,
General Secretary Mr. Koirala managed to pull off few big events in
the form of food activism-2013 in pokhara and trilateral
interaction program-2013. As a student of food science and
technology, he has been an epitome of sincere and hard working
graduating student leaving no stone unturned in making learning
look easy which might be why he was 3rd year topper as well yet
being, grounded and humbled. His Participation in food technology
related programs have been encouraging in these many years. He has
excelled in event organization and in master of ceremony having
been hosting and organizing the annual day for the fresh food tech
intake students for last three years. Also he was part of
organizing and coordinating the one day interaction on FSMS. His
ability to coordinate all members of his colleague is worth
mentioning.He has two widely shared articles on online portal site
www.sopannews.com on issues of climate change and food security. He
has active blogging sites where we can see food tech stuffs.Mr.
Koirala has gone above and beyond as a student leader at PBPC. He
has balanced his extracurricular and academic responsibilities and
made a lasting impression on me and many other individuals. He is
involved and dedicated. Koiralas outstanding qualities make him a
worthy and deserving candidate for this years GB Panta Memorial
