• Qu’ils ont la réputation de faire grossir les animaux
• La préoccupation actuelle vient de 1. Absence de nouveaux antibiotiques (ressource

• Qui aboutit aux bactéries MDR ou XDR
Quelles sont les quantités globales utilisées ? (estimations!)
• France – Humain :500-700 tonnes/an – Animaux 1000-1200 tonnes
• China uses 4X antibiotics for veterinary use than in the USA. Much of it ends up in manure – an estimated 700 million tons annually- from China alone.
• Des ng/l dans le rivières (élevages, hôpitaux, usines) mais des volumes gigantesques !!
• Pas dans les listes des substances “surveillées”

Mes conclusions à ce jour
– La résistance des bactéries aux antibiotiques ne peut plus être vue comme un problème uniquement médical.
– Les antibiotiques sont un ressource limitée. – Leur sur-utilisation a un réel impact
écologique – Il faut envisager le problème en termes de
développement durable

Les antibiotiques sont d’abord fait pour soigner les
patients infectés.
Les autres usages, aussi importants qu’ils soient économiquement, ne sont
que secondaires et doivent être repensés.
