Pre-installation operation Put the gear lever in the P position, wind down the driver’s side window completely, turn off the ignition and remove the key from the car.

Open the hood and locate the cabin filter housing.

Release the 3 retaining clips

Remove the filter housing, and you will see the ECU.

Disconnect the small connector by pulling the release tab as shown above

Disconnect the large connector in the same way.

Remove the ECU by pulling it out of the rubber grommets as shown.

Important note on shipping (only for customers outside the EU): For customs purposes, please state that the content of the package is “Electronic auto parts for repair”. That way, no-one will be charged with any import/export tax.

Tuning specs and requirements Please fill out the form on the next page completely and include it in the ECU shipment, so we know what ECU it is and what we need to do to it, when we receive it.
