Religion- The Roman Catholic

Religion was the first of this age.

Queen Mary, the sister of Queen Elizabeth believed in the Catholic religion.

Anyone who was of the Protestant religion was Burned alive.

Because she persecuted people for their beliefs, she got the nickname Bloody Mary.

After Queen Mary, was her sister Queen Elizabeth. Unlike her sister, Queen Elizabeth was of the Protestant

Religion. Queen Elizabeth made the Protestantism religion official. She believed people of the Catholic religion should

continue to practice their religion without harsh punishment.

Religion-

Catholics believe their Bible and sermon should be in the Latin language.

The Catholic church is decorated with statues and shrines.

They believe the church is a place to celebrate God.

Catholic Church Services-

Protestants believe the Bible and sermon should be in the people’s language.

The Protestant Church is very plain to allow complete focus on the sermons.
