MODEM Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art

- 4650 sqm on 3 levels, with over 3000 sqm exhibition space.

- One of the largest and most up-to-date modern and contemporary art centre of the country and its greater region opened its gates in the autumn of 2006.

- MODEM possesses the geopolitical position, size and architectural capabilities to be the centre for modern and contemporary international art life in Central Europe.

The three-storey gallery spreads on 4650 square metres from which more than 3000 square metres serve as exhibition areas. The country’s biggest open

space exhibition hall lies on 1300 square metres on the second floor, where special installations are built for each exhibition.

Besides the expositions, dance and music events, art historical, literary and philosophical lectures and museum-pedagogy workshops are also

held within the walls of MODEM.
