Refresh, Renew, Revisit: Michigan Assistive Technology Conference Event Description In this one-day event, school personnel, parents, and students will have an opportunity to gain tips, techniques, and answers to questions regarding assistive technology for students who are Blind/Visually Impaired (BVI). A keynote presentation will be given by Cary Supalo of Independence Science, and breakout sessions will be offered throughout the day. Vendors will be available for participants to explore devices. Participants will: Develop awareness of current technology devices Develop awareness of assistive technology apps Get answers to questions about assistive technology Registration: Register online and learn about credit availability at: bit.ly/ATConference Details Date and Time: March 6, 2020 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Doors open at 8:30 a.m.) Location: Lansing Community College West Campus 5708 Cornerstone Dr. Lansing, MI 48917 Intended Audience and Cost: $75 for school personnel $37.50 for college students and adult family members of students who are BVI Middle and high school students who are BVI may attend at no cost with a registered adult. Event Description

In this one-day event, school personnel, parents, and students will have an opportunity to gain tips, techniques, and answers to questions regarding assistive technology for students who are Blind/Visually Impaired (BVI). A keynote presentation will be given by Cary Supalo of Independence Science, and breakout sessions will be offered throughout the day. Vendors will be available for participants to explore devices.

Participants will:

• Develop awareness of current technology devices

• Develop awareness of assistive technology apps

• Get answers to questions about assistive technology
