Tokeepdevelopingyourskillsoverthecomingweekspleasehaveagoatthefollowingtask–attempttocreatethreeseparateartisticoutcomes: •Eachoutcomeshouldbemadebyrecordingfromobservation(so recordingsomethingthatyouseeinfrontofyou,notcopyingfromothers imagesorphotos). •Eachshouldbecreatedusingdifferentmedia(pencil,pen,paint,textiles,digital,clayetc.) •Eachshouldbeusingadifferenttechnique(forexamplecross-hatching,linedrawing,impasto,collageetc)
Youcanpickanythingyoufeelcomfortabletoworkfrom,anymaterialsyouliketouse,andanytechniquesthatshowoffyourskills,butequallyyoucouldchallengeyourselftotrysomethingnew.Anexamplemightbe-tolookatthepaintingtechniqueofVincentvanGogh(PostImpressionist)–decidethatyoumightuseoil-pastels–thencreateaself-portraitusingamirror(inhisstyle,withthosematerials).
