Understanding the World Harvest- what is Harvest? Why do we have it? Look at different types of weather. Discuss seasons and observe changes in Forest school. We are all different- Look at the similarities and differences between one another. Bible stories e.g. the wise and foolish builders. RE- Which stories are special and why? Program floor robots e.g. the wolf around the 3 houses. Find different ways to cross the ‘river’. Create a bridge when reading the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Plant a beanstalk- what do plants need to grow? Observe changes in the plant over time. Caterpillar to butterfly life cycle Communication and Language Pass the sound circle time activity. Different noises and sounds- animals, fireworks, splash. Drama- act out stories and nursery rhymes. Use puppets to re-tell stories.
