Reasons Why You Could Develop Shoulder
Problems Soon. Since school days we’ve been taught to maintain a good posture and
always be aware of the way the site, stand and walk. Posture is important
to physical health and a good posture can help keep many health risks at
bay by simply following a posture code during all kinds of activity. In
today’s time, when almost every person is at a desk or hunched over and
engrossed in their phones, people as young as teens develop shoulder
and spine problems.
A bad posture can affect you early or gradually develop over time and
complications will occur during later ages. Individuals with desk jobs
often experience shoulder pain, neck cramps and lower back ache. This is
due to excessive hours spent sitting in front of the desk in the same
position. Sitting in the same place or position for long periods of time can
cause muscles to freeze, causing cramps. This could lead to shoulder
problems like frozen shoulder and recurrent shoulder pain, both of
which are extremely painful and if not treated in time, pain will worsen.
Rounded shoulders are a common sight today as compared to 30 years
ago. With all ages spending more time into mobile phones and at desks.
Shoulder problems are a common cause of worry for youth and working
professionals.
Athletic activity can also lead to shoulder complications or shoulder
injury. Individuals participating in sports like Cricket, Tennis, Basketball
and weightlifting are among the most common who suffer from a minor
shoulder to serious shoulder injury. Bowlers often experience shoulder
pain and shoulder dislocation, Tennis players experience tennis elbow
and shoulder dislocations. Basketball and weight lifters are the most
common sports where there player dislocated a shoulder.
Don’t go with the assumption that only athletes playing extreme sports
are in the risk factor range for a shoulder dislocation. Any person can be
a victim of shoulder dislocation, it can happen anytime anywhere. Most
cases of shoulder dislocation are accidental cases. A simple routine task
could leave you with a dislocated shoulder, from lifting a heavy bag to
falling on your shoulder. If you experience pain when you lift up your
arms or carry a heavy load, it could be signs of shoulder wear and tear.
Seek treatment immediately to avoid further complications, frozen
shoulder treatment and a dislocated shoulder can be successfully
treated.
If your family history has recorded of members with weak bones are
muscle damage, you could be at the risk of shoulder injuries. The
ailments can be kept at bay with routine shoulder exercises to build
strength and always remember to maintain the right posture.
