• This interface allows the analyst to monitor all live programmed signals, edit a particular signal and add these clips to a notes workflow for generation of intelligence.

Hightower Audio/Video Appliance• DS clip cutting services- Service that automates the generation of

edited segments of video from existing programs/asset, it runs on each Audio appliance.

• DS Video Synchronization Service- This service encodes the signals and syncs the transcription in real time. This services also controls the Encoder start/stop based on a programming schedule.

• Hightower Datalogger Plug-in- This is a plug-in that sends meta data generated by the Video Service to the MYSQL or MSSQL database to be used inside the Hightower application interface.

• Windows 2003 64 Bit R2 Enterprise• Windows Media/ Silverlight- Displays Audio/Video streams to the end

user with adaptive streaming capabilities.

WINDOWS COMPONENTS

• Video Service- Component that analyzes de video and generates the meta data by analyzing the video/audio content, generates static key frames every 2 minutes, generates alerts based on a pre determined list of keywords or phrases. All this metadata is then sent to the Database for utilization by the Hightower Interface.

• Audio Service- Component that generates the transcription in any language, the transcription accuracy can be tailored by to increase the capabilities by having the system learn new words or jargon that may be regional in nature for any language pack that is acquired.

• Program Center- Programming administration interface, this allows for the user to administer all programming across all audio appliances, and set up the meta data and schema required by Hightower.

• Language models can be in English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Farsi.

• The Audio Appliance system consists of customized server class equipment designed for the demanding air requirements of encoding circuitry. It has the capability to resist higher than normal temperatures, between 75-85 degrees. The appliance utilizes QUAD/SIX CORE AMD OPTERON technology and Windows 64 Bit Server OS.

• The Data processor Appliance operates with 16-24 Cores to handle simultaneous stream meta data in Real-Time.

The Hightower solution allows an end user to simultaneously monitor multiple signals, edit any segments form the live stream into smaller edited files and finally publish through a small notes generation workflow to add intelligence to the note. Hightower can scale out to as many signals as one desires to have.
