In this challenging era, English is becoming one of the important pieces that should be instilled in one’s life. Most of the employers prefer their staffs to be able to speak in English and as for the students, most of the reference books and articles are written in English. Hence, to enhance their lives, English can elevate themselves among the knowledgeable people. In my experience, reading is my journey of acquiring English Language.

It started since I was a little kid, my persuasive dad often asked me to read the newspapers. I normally read the few pages at the back that interested me the most. I, the sports maniac, literally read anything that related to sports especially football and basketball. If you choose something to read that you like, it can actually be interesting and enjoyable.

As the tehnology gets more efficient, I am able to assess to various information via social medias which enable me to improve my command in English. For example, media socials such as Facebook and Twitter provide users with so many latest news and useful articles. In addition, reading people’s conversation and opinions also helping me to widen my English.

In brief, reading can come through so many forms and it is absolutely helping me in the language until now. By reading, I am able to enrich my vocabulary and also to see and learn grammatical English naturally.
