To manage all aspects relating to student accounts at your school, ensure you have clicked on the ‘Manage Students’ option from the left hand menu panel.

If a student with the same name already exists at the school, be sure to enter a slightly different name,
(perhaps with their middle initial or a number) so that you can differentiate between duplicate
student accounts.
I.e enter Peter A. Smith or Peter Smith2
Click ‘Where do I ADD STUDENTS?’ at the top-right of the screen to go to the Add Students section. Under the heading ‘Add students to your class’, enter the student’s name and select their teacher.01

If you remove a student from a class accidentally, go to the Move Students into a class from School Admin guide to find out how to move them back
into their class.
Unfortunately, students who have been deleted from their class cannot be retrieved.

Remove students from a class
Locate the student by typing their name in the search box or selecting them from the list.
To temporarily remove students from a class: Select the student(s) by ticking the box next to their name(s) and click ‘Remove from class’.
To permanently remove students from a class, select the student(s) by ticking the box next to their name(s) and click ‘Delete’.

Move students into your class from ‘No Teacher’
Click ‘Move students’.
Select the student(s) you would like to move and click ‘Move into class’.
Select the destination class and click ‘Move into class’.

Edit student details
Find the student by typing their name in the search box or by browsing through your school roll.
Hover your mouse over the student whose details you would like to edit and click the ‘Edit’ button that appears on the right.
Edit the student’s details and click ‘Update Student’.

Manage student progress
To manually move students to a higher or lower lesson for reading, spelling or comprehension, click on ‘Student Progress’ and choose Reading Eggs or Reading Eggspress depending on what the student uses.
Hover over the student until you see the edit button appear on the left hand side. Click to edit each student’s level.
A pop up will appear within your screen to adjust your student’s progress

To change the progress of all the students, select every student and click on ‘Change Progress’
A pop up will appear within your screen to adjust all student progress in one go. This would be helpful when you want every student to re-sit a placement test or place all students on the same lesson.
