CITRIC ACID-Non-toxic-excellent se-questerant —a most versatile industrial organic acid —efficient cleaner for fer­rous and non-ferrous metals-^success­fully used in power plant-cleaning and radio-active decontamination programs. Salts also available. Citroflex®esters are efficient, non-toxic plasticizers.

GLUCONIC ACID-Non-toxic-outstand* ing sequesterant in caustic solutions— extremely useful in cleaning compounds for aluminum etching, rust removal, paint stripping, glass mold cleaning and bottle washing. Excellent sequesterant for iron over a wide ph range. Salts also available.

FUMARIC ACID-Α prime material irt alkyd resins and rosin adducts mariu* facture. Salts also available.

BENZOIC ACID-Aromatic carboxylic acid —effective antimycotic agent—anti-corrosive-useful in paint, textile, and industries. Salts also available.

ITACONIC ACID-Low toxicity-unique beta carboxyl group adds adhesion, solu­bility, and stability to copolymers. Other itaconic monomers (dimethyl and dibu-tyl) also commercially available. Salts also available.

OXALIC ACID-Strong organic a c i d -noted for its ability to solubilize iron oxide—salts important in blueprinting and gold coloring of aluminum—widely used in metal cleaners and polishers* Salts also available.

SORBISTAT®- (Sorbic Acid - Pfizer) Non-toxic, effective antimycotic agent gaining acceptance in areas where mold contamination is a problem. Water solu­ble potassium salt also available. EDTA and NTA-Salts of these com-pounds also available—excellent chelat­ing agents —specially effective in solu­tions containing alkaline earth metals.

TARTARIC ACID-Excellent sequesterant —salts widely used in metal cleaning and plating, textile printing and blueprinting, plus a host of related industries. Salts also available.
