Fundamentals to Advanced ConceptsSeptember 6 – September 9, 2016

A comprehensive musculoskeletal imaging course with an emphasis on sports imaging and musculoskeletal disease with pathological correlation. The course will focus on commonly encountered clinical pathology and challenges in musculoskeletal diagnoses. It will emphasize differential considerations for MR findings as well as specific diagnoses. This course will feature iconic educators using interactive teaching methods, including an ‘At the PACS’ format where entire cases are reviewed, case-based sessions, and classic didactic teaching. Rapid fire sessions will be included to allow the attendee to maximize their exposure to technical and clinical challenges implementing a focused 10 minute period to summarize key issues in diagnosis.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound – Ultrasound Guided Intervention in MSK Radiology

The ISS Annual Meeting will include a dedicated one-day musculoskeletal ultrasound course on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, focusing on ultrasound guided intervention in MSK radiology. This course will include didactic lectures covering diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, as well as a projected live scanning demonstration. There will also be a hands-on ultrasound-scanning workshop supervised by international experts. Course registration will also include a course syllabus. It is important to register early for this course, as enrollment is limited.

The capital of France and one of the most visited cities in the world, Paris is rich in culture and unique cuisines from traditional French food to a variety of international fare. It boasts famous attractions from historical sites such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre to popular destinations like Disneyland Paris, the only Disney Park in Europe, or the world-renowned shopping on Champs-Élysées. Just north of the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche is the Seine River which flows through the center of the city, passing architectural wonders and adding to the ambiance that is Paris—the city of lights, romance and dreams.

ISS members and non-members are encouraged to submit abstracts for the Scientific Paper Session and Electronic Exhibits during the ISS Members’ Meeting. The Scientific Session will be Monday, September 5, 2016; the Electronic Exhibits will be Monday through Friday, September 5 – 9, 2016.

Abstracts for the Scientific Paper Session are due February 28, 2016

Abstracts should be submitted electronically at www.editorialmanager.com/skra. Reduced registration to “Musculoskeletal Imaging Course: Fundamentals to Advanced Concepts” will be offered to Scientific Paper presenters.
