Established in 1987, IHM Meerut is one of the oldest hospitality institutes in this part of the country. Signed a Memorandum of Co-operation with a leading university in UK to promote the interchange of faculty, to develop joint initiatives in hospitality research and curriculum development. Besides conducting 'train the teacher' programmes, the students, too, are being groomed in 'Image Management' by experts and professionals. The Institute endeavors to develop human resources at global levels in the sphere of hospitality and tourism. Inaugurated a special 8 weeks training programme for the children of Snehalaya (registered Children Home) in Food Production under the “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak Scheme.
