TENDER – ARC/UTDs-UIT-03

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF CHEMICALS, GLASSWA RES,

PLASTICWARES KITS AND FILTERPAPERS REQUIRED FOR THE VARIOUS

UTDS/UIT OF RGPV, BHOPAL ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. Tenders received after the due date and time shall not be accepted.

2. TENDER-FORM IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

3. a) The tender should be sent on firm’s own letter-pad in duplicate. One set should be original

while the other should be duplicate. Each set should be prominently marked as ORGINAL or

DUPLICATE as the case may be.

The tenders submitted should be complete along with the terms & conditions of supply and

printed catalogues, price list applicable for whole financial year.

4. RATE.

a) The discount on the rates in the approved / authentic pricelist of the manufacturers

should be quoted F.O.R., UTDs, RGPV, Airport By – Pass Road, Bhopal -462033.

b) Latest price list on which discount is offered should be enclosed along with quotation.

c) The discount should be specified clearly (in percentage) without any alteration or cutting.

Quoted discount should always be both in figures and in words.

5. EARNEST MONEY:

a) The tenders is required to submit earnest money deposit, Rs. 3000/- per make

The earnest money should be sent in the shape of Bank Draft only in favour of the

Registrar – RGPV, Bhopal, M.P. (Earnest money in the shape of fixed deposit, call deposit and

cheques will not be accepted. )

b) The entire amount of Earnest – Money/Security Deposit will be forfeited in case the –

• Tenderer/Supplier either shows his inability or does not execute the placed order

within the validity period of tender at the approved rates.

• Tenderer/supplier fails to abide by any terms & conditions of tender or purchase

order.

6. The submission of a tender will be deemed to be the acceptance of the terms & conditions of the

tender as stated herein.

7. Tender should be valid at least for one year from the date of opening of the tender. The prices

should be firm and should not be subject to any variation.

8. The contract can be extended further for the period of three months subject to consent of approved

supplier of the company on the same rate.

9. The undersigned does not pledge himself to accept the lowest or any tender and also reserves the

right of rejecting all or any of the tender without giving any reason for the same and split up the

tender as he may deem fit.

10. No Request for supply of any details in respect of tenders or comparative chart or any other

enquiry in respect of the tender already received in this office will be entertained in any case.

11. Sealed envelops for the tender must be superscribed as Tender Notice No.ARC/UTDs-UIT-

03 of 2011 and should be addressed to:-

12. ALL DISPUTES WITH REGARD TO THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHSE OF

CHEMICAL, GLASSWARES, PLASTICWARES AND FILTERPAPERS WILL BE

SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION OF COURT AT BHOPAL ONLY.

13. The supplier has to enclose the sole authorization certificate along with the tender form

separately. Supplier having such certificate from the manufacturer/ principal shall only be

considered.

14. Taxes and duties if liable and claimed extra should be clearly stated failing which the rates

quoted in the tender will be considered as inclusive of all taxes and no claim for the same will be

entertained. THE TENDERER SHOULD AVOID THE USE OF VAGUE TERMS SUCH AS

“EXTRA AS APPLICABLE”

15. Tenderer should submit bills in triplicate for the chemicals, glasswares, plasticwares and

filterpapers supplied.

16. Clarification if any is sought from the Institute before submitting the tender.

17.The quotations will be accepted from only those tenderers who purchase tender form in due

date.
