All of you, all of my children, all of you are in my heart. All of you have my motherly love and I desire to lead all of you to come to know God’s joy. This is why I am calling you. I need humble apostles who, with an open heart, will accept the Word of God and help others to comprehend the meaning of their life along side God’s word. To be able to do this, my children, through prayer and fasting you must learn to listen with the heart and to learn to keep submitting yourselves. You must learn to keep re- jecting everything that distances you from God’s word and to yearn only for that which draws you closer to it. Do not be afraid. I am here. You are not alone. I am imploring the Hoy Spirit to renew and strengthen you. I am imploring the Holy Spirit that, as you help others, you too may be healed. I am imloring Him that, through Him, you may be God’s children and my apostles. From our PresidentCarlo DiMaggio

I want to thank -- our priest director Father Robert Young, our board of directors, and all of the volunteers and wonderful donors -- all from the bottom of my heart for the success of this Fall 2013 Mariathon!

I thank you for your sacrifice and for your dedication to Radio Maria. Personally, I am proud to be part of the great family of Radio Maria that is expanding throughout the world. In these times of Christian persecution, let the voice of Radio

2013 Fall Mariathon -- $108,000 raised!A heart-felt Thank You to alll who donated, volunteered

Father Robert Young and Lance Mudd, a volunteer and generous donor from Lake Charles, LA, asks listeners to donate during a live broadcast Sept. 17 of the 2013 Fall Mariathon. More than $108,000 was raised.

Maria be heard throughout the world. Once again, I thank you all for your continued prayer,

dedication, and financial support that you provide Radio Maria with throughout the year.-- Sincerely, Carlo DiMaggio, RM President

From our Priest DirectorFather Robert Young, OFM

Our Fall Mariathon this year which celebrated the “Holy Name of Mary” (Sept. 12) was once again a great success, thanks to you, our listeners.

In spite of so many challenges facing us and our families today, you, our listeners, continue to show your selfless and generous love for Our Lady and Her Radio.

So many let us know of their prayers for us and asked for ours. This exchange is certainly the most efficacious way that we can keep our network going. So many volunteered many, long hours to answer the phones, record the data and be on the air. Two volunteers drove several hours to be here to serve in what-ever capacity they could. The witness of volunteers giving so completely of themselves is the very life-blood of this Mission of Our Lady for the New Evangelization.

It was the inspiration of our founder, Mr. Emanuele Fer-rario,-- 25 years ago-- to build a network dedicated to the New Evangelization that would belong to the listeners and sustained by them. This network now reaches across the globe to 64 countries in over 40 languages. Without you, there is no Ra-dio Maria; but with your faithful prayer, volunteer presence, and donations, Radio Maria continues to bring God’s Word to the ends of the earth.

Comments from Listeners

“I love listening to Radio Maria. When I tune in to other Christian radio stations, it’s not quite the same. Then I go back to Radio Maria and say, ‘Now, I’m home.’ Thanks to all those who work so hard to make it possible.” -- Valerie

“I very much appreciate the addition of my intentions to your prayer book. I enjoy listening to many of the pro-grams the station offers and I’m happy to do my small part to help ensure the broadcasts continue. Being unable to choose the people I’m surrounded by, (and prison be-ing what it is) Radio Maria is my primary spiritual support and inspiration, outside of our Saturday morning Mass, my Bible, and devotional books.

I enjoy listening to “Take Your Limits Off God” and also to praying the Midday Office ‘with’ Fr. Duane. As an isolated Third Order Carmelite, being able to pray the Divine Office with the various volunteers at Radio Maria gives me some sense of community. ” -- Ted

Carmelite Conversations is a weekly program that centers on the teachings of Carmelite Spirituality and its application to our busy modern lives. It provides counsel on how to live the Carmelite call to combine contemplative prayer with service to the Church, while at the same time providing guidance on how to make progress in holiness.

Tune in on Mondays at 6 p.m. (CST) and 7 p.m. (EST).and call in with your questions and stories; toll free at 1-866-333-MARY(6279).

Program of the Month:

Carmelite Conversations

By Mark Danis and Frances Harry

Airs every Monday at 6 p.m. (CST), 7 p.m. (EST)

Radio Maria has been blessed for several years with the inspiring programs of Fr. John Fletcher, C.C. and Fr. Harold Imamshah. Both priests recently moved outside the United States, but continue to minister with us through the internet service called “Skype”.

Fr. John Fletcher is host of three pro-grams at this time, including: • Catholic Grab Bag -- Fridays at 5 p.m. EST; 4 p.m. CST• Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, -- Tuesdays at 6 p.m. EST; and 5 p.m. CST. • Catechism Hour -- Wednesdays at 10 a.m. EST; 9 a.m. CST)

He has also served as regional priest advisor for the Mid-West region for the last few years. and is a member of the Companions of the Cross, a rather new religious community which is founded in Canada.

Fr. John is now located in Canada with his community. We are delighted that Fr. John is still able to provide his excellent programs on Radio Maria.

Fr. Harold Imamshah is a priest of the Diocese of Alexandria, La. but a native of Trinidad. He has re-located temporarily to Trinidad in order to be closer to his mother after the loss of his only brother

Two priests re-locate but still with us at Radio Maria

Father John Fletcher, CC, (second priest from left) host of three pro-grams on Radio Maria, used to work with the Dayton, Ohio staff.

Father Harold Imamshah, host of House Calls, presents his program via Skype from Trinidad, an island in the Southern Carribean.

last year.Fr. Harold has hosted “House Calls” at

4 p.m. CST on Thursdays for several years. His gentle voice and compassionate spirit reach out to many listeners who call in each week to ask for his prayers for their particular needs.

All of us at Radio Maria are eternally grateful to God for providing such faith-ful and faith-filled priests to lead us closer to Him and Our Blessed Mother.

Thank you, Father John and Father Harold. May God and His Holy Mother bless and protect you as you continue to serve Radio Maria and the Church.
