Quantity Surveyor (Sunbury on Thames)

We are looking for
A Quantity Surveyor to join our QS Team based in our Sunbury-on-Thames Office.
Developing and maintaining the Company's contract process and procedures, you will
provide support during the tender and contract negotiation process. You will provide
assistance to ensure that all contract notices are issued and applications for payment are
submitted on time and collected. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate contract
files for all correspondence and assisting in the management of the flow of information to
ensure compliance with the contract programme and contractual commitments.
Skills, Education and Experience
You will be a detail conscious and inflential communicator, able to provide clear and
relevant information in a way that they can be easily understood. You will self-confidence
and work with minimum supervision delivering work that is timely and accurate.
- Understands the commercial aspects of the construction industry, the impact of
competition and what strategies and tactics work in this marketplace.
- Able to negotiate skilfully in tough situations winning concessions without damaging
relationships
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction Industry is desirable
- Must have HNC/HND Qualification Quantity Surveying, preferably a degree in
Quantity Surveying.
- Must have relevant qualification and QS experience within the construction industry
