Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust was established in 1984 with Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic. Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Pune was established in 1999 – 2000 with 180 intake. Now PCCOE has more than three thousand students on campus with intake of 850 students every year.

Those Circles who are bringing their models for display during the presentation will be allowed to present their model in one slot of three hours on any day from 19th -21st December 2014, for which 100 teams have to pre-register on first come first served basis. Preference will be given to the teams who have paid the registration fee. During model display, at least 2 members should be present for explaining the model. A banner to be displayed showing the circle name, code, organization name and theme of the project or project title. Judge(s) will visit the stall without informing and best 20 models will be awarded on Dec 21st 2014.

Case study presentations will be in the following categories.

1. Quality Circle

2. Lean Quality Circle (LQC)

3. Kaizen4. WCM Circles

5. Six Sigma Concept

6. Poka Yoke Concept

7. SMED Concept

8. 5-S Concept

9. TPM Circle 10. Any other allied team Concepts

Case Studies Presented in Chapter Convention and

selected for the National Convention, will be

scheduled for Presentation in parallel sessions. The

official languages for presentation will be Hindi and

English.

For presentations in other languages, the teams are requested to arrange their own translators. Teams Should have their own Power Point presentation either in English or Hindi. The entire presentation, including translation, however, need to be completed within the stipulated time limit of 15 minutes. Presentation of Allied concepts will be conducted in separate hall and there would be separate evaluation criteria for each concept.

The theme of the skit has to be related to Quality concepts.

Interested groups are requested to send their skits on or

before 15th October 2014, to the Executive Director at

QCFI, Head Quarters. Best 6 skits will be selected for

competition, to be held on 21st Dec 2014. Each skit should

be completed within 10 minutes. 2 minutes are allotted for

change over.

To encourage the creativity among the members of

different Quality Concept teams, different competitions

are being organised like Essay, Poster, Slogan and

Poem. Poster must be in A2 Size (420 mm x 594mm) art

paper and should be related to '5-S (Work Place

Management). An Essay Competition will also be

conducted on the theme of the Convention NCQC-

2014. The essay should not exceed 600 words.

Interested QC members may send their entries with

name & address either in English or in Hindi. Selected

entries will be given certificates, and a memento will

also be given to those who attend the convention.

Last date for submission of all entries is 15th October, and they should be sent to theExecutive Director, QCFI

Headquarters.
