“The candidates from all of the fairs were really strong this year - I suggest to keep doing what you are doing. I have been very busy following up with all of the great students I met!”

Allison Jacobs, Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business

“The Jones School has been identifying top MBA talent on the QS World MBA Tour for many years. QS events are always well-run, well-attended, and attract consistently high quality candidates who are serious about taking the next step in their career by getting an MBA. As we live in a time when candidates have their choice of quality MBA programs, we truly value the access that QS events give us to the future leaders of the business world.”

Katie Radcliffe, Rice University, Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business

“QS has been very important for our recruiting efforts around the world. The personal contact they give to both the students and us really helps to set up a great interaction at each event. We always look forward to traveling with QS every season.”

Gordon Berridge, Bentley University

“QS staff makes sure the events are run smoothly, helping us achieve our recruitment goals combined with a grueling travel schedule. They make an effort to conform to individual school needs while maintaining high standards and good spirits overall.”

Mary Granger, ESADE Business School

“QS does a great job in Latin America and I was ecstatic to see the adjustment that was made to the TAP application to work with our own phones.”

Jeff Nehajowich, Simon Fraser University, Beedie School of Business

“Very good job! Every year we appreciate what QS does to keep up the quality of events. See you on the next tour!”

Jose Cosials, University of Miami School of Business

“Working with QS Connect 1-2-1 is a great opportunity to meet a small number of very focused candidates. The QS team works very hard to match candidate and school at various points in the process and provides candidates with a depth of information that is difficult to match in a traditional MBA fair environment.”

Tyler Henderson, SDA Bocconi School of Management

“The Women in Leadership events provide an excellent opportunity to meet representatives from the world’s top Business Schools and network with other aspiring women as you embark on the next step in your leadership journey.”

Amalia Di Iorio, La Trobe Business School

Dear Colleagues,

2015 is shaping-up to be a very exciting year for QS!

We’ve spent the past 12 months growing our events and services and at the same time trying to improve some of the things that our clients, asked of us:

~ Improved our communication and customer service, which we have done with great effect through our Customer Service Manager structure

~ Offered a variety of event formats with more panels and presentations, which we have done, allowing more schools to take advantage of pre-event opportunities

Welcome

In 2015 we will focus our efforts on:

~Continuing to run the largest and most-consistent MBA admissions events in every market that we visit

~Ensuring we remain as price-competitive as possible in order to help you maximize your recruiting budgets including offering a new service: travel packages at cost price

~Developing our TAP system to allow you track, make notes and view candidate backgrounds & candidate information at the point of meeting

~ Improving the ease with which you can use our online systems to research, book and find information on our events and services

~Growing our online advertising opportunities to allow you to reach our 2 million+ web visitors

~Varying our event formats to best reflect the markets that we visit and application cycle timing

~New improved Connect 1-2-1 system for viewing candidates profiles and scheduling meetings

~ Introduction of virtual 1-2-1 sessions, letting schools meet candidates from cities outside our event scope

In 2015 we will also start to offer organized travel packages, including hotels, flights and airport transfers to facilitate your travel as part of our larger group. Please ask us about Spring 2015 trips to Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Across our suite of products and services, QS is truly committed to ensuring that you see the best return on your recruitment investment. We offer the opportunity to meet with a greater number of qualified MBA candidates, often at half the cost per candidate of our nearest competitors.

So please, take a look at our information and if you have any questions or specific requests, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your account manager!

Here’s to another great year!

~ The QS World MBA Tour is the leading global series of MBA admissions recruitment events, annually attracting over 60,000 registrations and yielding the largest database of prospective MBA candidates bar none.

~ With full access to data from all registered candidates, the QS World MBA Tour is both the largest opportunity to meet face-to-face with prospective applicants and a key source of candidate data for top business schools around the world.

~ Through our recently launched new version of our Outreach system, schools are able to segment, target and communicate with candidates both before and after each event.

~ Running events for over 20 years, QS is able to tailor our events to each market that we visit, depending on the number of prospective applicants within the region as well as application cycle timing.

Event Formats

QS World MBA Tour

Open Fair

These large MBA fairs give schools the chance to speak to many candidates at an event. Tables are arranged in exhibition style layout, and are listed on a floorplan handed out to call candidates at the event. Schools here can maximise face-to-face contact with large quantities of candidates, as well as benefitting from panels or presentations.

Roundtable Events

The fair format, used in niche markets, involves QS staff directing candidates to school tables based on their profile and the school’s target audience. There is no strict time limit on conversations but this individual approach means school benefit from in-depth conversations with targeted candidates. All schools are also invited to sit either on a panel or participate in a short ‘snapshot’

‘Snapshot presentations,’ are short, elevator pitch-type presentations that run at our Roundtable events and allow schools the opportunity to give brief insights into their program, encouraging candidates to come visit them at the fair portion of the event.

Panels & Presentations NEW REDUCED COST

In all Open Fair events, we have increased the number of 20-minute presentations that schools are able to purchase, running from 4-6pm at weeknight events, and 1-3pm at weekend events.

$500 | €400 | £350

We also offer at least one FREE panel at each event, directly before the opening of the fair, for clients who book 3 or more cities in a region.*

Accessing candidate data ~ TopMBA Outreach: In August 2014, QS launched

our new TopMBA Outreach system. This online tool allows schools to contact candidates up to 2 weeks prior to the event, as well as build, schedule and monitor email campaigns globally. Targeted search capabilities and a new, user-friendly layout make it easy to ensure your message is reaching the right applicants.

~ QS Tap Technology: This downloadable App allows schools to connect with candidates during the event. Using the App on any smart device, schools can connect with potential students, as well as make notes, rate and group the candidate and more. All these details are then sent to the school representatives one hour after the end of the event. Please note in some cities QS will provide devices for schools.

Additional Branding ~ Online visibility: All schools participating in our

events receive a free basic profile on TopMBA.com. The site, which received 2.5million visits in the last 12 months, is a hub for all MBA candidates researching schools and registering for our events.

~ Print and more: all tour participants are listed on the floor plan of each event, which is printed and handed out to each candidate. Where possible, schools are also listed in PR and media advertising campaigns, as well as partner publications, website, radio, TV and more.

On the Day ~ Panels and Seminars: We offer panel and

presentation options at all World MBA Tour events. Our extensive schedule gives schools the chance to purchase sessions – however we continue to host at least one free admissions panel before each event. These free sessions are subject to terms and conditions* and fill up quickly, so book your place early!

~ Networking and Socializing: Being alone on the road can be tough – so our dedicated travel teams organize social events throughout the tour. Post-fair networking drinks are held after every World MBA Tour event, and journalists and local employers are invited to key fairs. Our team are also on hand for training and consultation for new travellers or alumni to make sure you can get the most out of each event. Our travellers can share their itinerary early if you’d like to travel in a group.

QS Research ~ TopMBA.com Applicant Survey: The results of

the TopMBA.com Applicant Survey are provided to all participating schools. This report, compiled the QS Intelligence Unit, covers student destination and study intentions, school selection criteria, and research tools used by candidates to make their business school choice. Please enquire about more detailed country reports to help with travel planning.

~ QS Global Employer Survey: The QS Global 200 Business Schools Report is the only report of its kind that takes into account the opinions of MBA recruiters globally. These results are collected in our QS Global Employer Survey. For more information or a copy of any QS Research, please email your account manager or [email protected]

QS provides a series of free additional services at all World MBA Tour events.

*Places on the free panels are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to schools who commit to strong marketing support for the events. A slot can be offered to schools that book more than three cities in any one region. We cannot offer more than two slots per region. Schools are required to promote their participation in the panels by sending an announcement to their local prospect database and advertise in local media. To book a slot, please contact your QS account manager.
