STUDENT SCENARIO ACTIVITYFor this activity you will be divided into two groups and given a couple different student scenarios related to QM 7 – Learner Support. You will get a a few minutes to search for your answer, as if you were the student, and then we’ll take a few minutes to discuss results, experiences, success finding the answers to your search scenario question.

SCENARIO 1You are a veteran who’s vision was damaged while overseas and are taking your first online course ever. You can see well enough to navigate the LMS, but it takes a long time and you miss a lot of the text. How do you get help?

SCENARIO 2 You are a new student taking your first online course

through Canvas. You try to log in to Canvas, but you get the message that your password is incorrect. How do you get help?

SCENARIO 3You are fulltime student trying to withdraw from all of your courses (2 online and 2 F2F) due to a serious medical condition. How do you get help?

SCENARIO 4 You are a student that needs help with your chemistry

class. You go to the NMSU website and search chemistry help. Are you able to find the help you need? (Bonus points: enter search terms math help; writing help; and tutoring. How are the search results different?)
