DDCNP platform – it is an integrated distributed multilevel control network platform. It is implemented on the basis basic international protocols and other field buses, including wireless protocols: LIN (Local Interconnect Network) - local (sensor) network provides shared functioning of smart sensors and actuators in network RS-485 - high-speed network is used as sensor network along with LIN bus CAN (Controller Area Network) - controller area network provides communications of smart consoles, nodes, units and modules in network Ethernet - high-speed network of workstation level, provides systems communications within the complex scalaBACS complex – it is a three-layer distributed network: The first level it is a Workstation Network Layer (WNL) which comprises of servers, workstations and operator’s stations connected by Ethernet. It provides dataware (databases, configuration programs and etc.) of the complex within the building or set of buildings The second layer it is a Controller Network Layer (CNL) which comprises of controllers and consoles, connected via CAN bus. It provides communications of controllers within the building The third level it is a Sensor Network Layer (SNL) which comprises of controllers connected via sensor networks (LIN, RS-485, EnOcean, ZigBee and others). It provides communications with sensors within premise and/or building floor Distributed network architecture of the hardware part of the scalaBACS complex requires distributed and component software. Hardware supportHardware part of scalaBACS complex (scalaBACS Hardware Suite) is subdivided into two groups according to its functionality and supported network protocols.

Controller Network Layer Devices (second level)

dmDataPUC - data processing unit. Polling of two sensor LIN or/and RS-485 networks, processing and data communication via CAN bus

dmConsole-GC - graphics screen user console. Displaying of appearing alarms, secure facility status control and systems operation control

dmConsole-TTC - TouchScreen TFT display user console. Displaying of differ-ent service and private data

dmSignalCURLC - signalling control unit. Controlling of alarm annunciators

dmCANbrouterCC - bridge or/and router. Gatewaying

dmCANserverC - data server. Storage and operational processing of large data content

dmCANeNETC - CAN↔Ethernet/Internet gateway. Intercommunication man-agement with workstation layer, integration of different physically distributed CAN segments

dmCANgsmC - CAN↔GSM/GPRS/SMS gateway. Communications via WLAN networks, alarm notifications transferring to cellular phone and remote control and management of various devices via SMS

dmRS-JamminiC - cellular communications blockirator. Distributed intelli-gent blocking of mobile communication based on GSM, CDMA450 and DAMS standards

dmCANgpsC - GPS positioning unit

dmCANloggerC - CAN data logger

dmCANtimeC - time server. Primary clock function in time managementtime management system (common-timing system)

dmCANclockC - secondary clock control unit

dmCANvoiceC - voice notification unit
