I hope you are all studying well and feeling confident with your classes. In accordance with the start of the new school year, CLAISC has come back bigger and better than ever, welcoming many new members in addition to welcoming back those who have returned. So what exactly have we been up to? Firstly, we have two new interns who serve as secretaries on the EBOARD. You can also drop your membership dues off with Dr. Morgan at her office in BRNG. Last but certainly not least, we also have an awesome EBOARD consisting of President Yexin, Vice President Yolanda, Treasurer Xinyi, and Web Master Tiffany. These ladies are responsible for making sure the CLAISC community stays strong, and while they are doing a wonderful job, they won’t be in office forever. This is where you come in! We will be holding CLAISC EBOARD elections in the next coming months. If you are interested in taking your leadership abilities to the next level, make sure you apply for an EBOARD position! "

You can see the EBOARD in action on Tuesdays at 6pm in the Union behind Starbucks. Feel free to sit in on a meeting anytime, especially if you are interested in becoming an officer!"

Potential Events

Above all else, the CLAISC EBOARD values the opinions of our fantastic members! We work to serve you guys, and we’d love to have your feedback on what events you’d like us to plan. Here are a few of our ideas:

• Weekly Culture Nights

• English/writing practice with Amanda

• Bowling Night in the Union

• Karaoke Night at Echo

If you have an idea for an event you’d like to make a reality, let us know! You can come to our EBOARD meetings Tuesday’s at 6 in the Union Starbucks seating area, or you can email Amanda at [email protected] Make your voice heard!
