Float fl ow meters DFM 165 - DFM 350
ASV fl oat fl ow meters are available for many
fl ow ranges from 3 to 50.000 l/h. The tried
and tested design is being used in many
applications from water treatment to heavy
chemical industry. Based on a special confi -
guration software special scales for almost
every liquid or gaseous fl uid can be supplied.
All ASV fl oat fl ow meters come with an integ-
rated assembly mounting rail for the fi tting of
position indicators and can be supplied with
corresponding magnetic fl oats. Next to the
optical display the DFM can be used as part of
more complex control systems.
Flow data sensors ZE 3075
The ZE3075 consists of a reed switch chain
which is activated by a magnet in the fl oat.
Any movement of the fl oat is detected by
the switches and being transferred into a
continuous 0/4..20mA signal. The unit is
calibrated during commissioning and requires
no further maintenance after that.
Flow data sensors ZE 3000
The ZE 3000 delivers a continuous 0/4..20 mA
signal. This relates to the actual position of
the fl oat inside the meter. The working princi-
pal of the ZE 3000 is based on tri-angulation
between the sensor and the magnet. Because
of this, the ZE 3000 can also read fl oat
positions exceeding the length of the sensor
housing.
Limit switches ZE 950/ZE951
The ZE 950 is a mono-stable limit switch,
which is actuated when the float is directly
in front of the switch. The bistable ZE 951 is
switching between two positions. These are
only changing each time the float passes
the switch, either on the way up or down.
The ZE 951 for that reason is available in
NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed)
version.
For use with fl ow data sensors the fl ow
meters are equipped with magnetic fl oats.

Ultrasonic Sensor UFM
The UFM is able to realise touchless fi lling
level detection. The compact device is able
to monitor a 6 meter range by means of a
continuously sensing, integrated ultrasonic
sensor.
The programming and optical output is done
by means of an optional, plug-in display. As
all ASV display-programmable sensors the
UFM can come with various signal output
options. The connection to a PLC or as direct
controller for other system components can
be done by different current based interfaces
0/4..20mA or as relay-versions. The program-
ming of the device can be comfortably done
be means of many parameters.

Hydrostatic fi lling level sensor HFT
The HFT is detecting the hydrostatic pressure
of a liquid inside a tank with a known geometry
and calculates the corresponding fi lling level.
The sensor is lowered to the bottom of the
tank by a 6 meter FEP-cable and needs to be
calibrated for the fl uid and tank size once.
The special plastic encapsulation of the
sensor allows very precise control even in
aggressive fl uids. Because of the hydrostatic
working principle also foaming liquids can be
safely monitored.

Conductive Limit switch CFP
The conductive sensor CFP has been designed
for use in electrically conductive liquids.
It is available with two or three stainless steel
probes. If the fl uid closes the circuit between
the up to 1 meter long probes the two 24V
relays on the internal output interface are
activated. This simple device is capable of
detecting up to two fi lling levels and therefore
very suitable for min/max actuation.
Level switch NIS
The NIS is capable to detect up to 4 fi lling
levels. The devices operates by means of
diaphragm pressure switches, which reach
into the not pressurised tank via submerging
tubes.
When the fl uid rises in the tube the hydrostatic
pressure of the compressed air in the tube is
actuating the switch. The switching points are
determined by drilling 8 mm vent holes into
the tube 100 mm below the desired switching
point.

Bistable switch BSS
The BSS is a bistable switch, which gets
actuated by means of a passing magnet.
The system is being used for min/max reading
on tanks and containers. Counterweights or
magnetic fl oats are used for the actuation.
Next to the clear optical indication electric
voltages of 250VAC (30VDC) and currents of
up to 3A can be directly activated. For the BSS
a selection of fl oats, encapsulated magnets
and defl ector rollers are available as accessories.

Leakage and overfi ll prevention
PEPEPEThe operation of containers for water polluting
substances in accordance with the German law
WHG §19 requires the use of approved sensors
to prevent overfi lling and detect leakage.
ASV Stübbe offers an DIBt approved complete
system for electrically conductive liquids. The
system consists of the limit switch SGS and
the leakage probe LS. The processing of the
signals can happen via a PLC or the optional
signalling device SE.
Signalling device SE
The signalling device SE is a controller for
stand-alone systems on individual tanks.
It combines the power supply and signal
processing for the limit switch SGS and the
leakage probe LS and is fi tted with several
230 V relay outputs as well as an optical and
an acoustical warning signal.
Leakage probe LS
The leakage probe LS is a variation of the
limit switch SGS. The purpose of this unit is to
detect leaking liquids in the gap between the
tank and an outer protective container. It is
equipped with a seven meter cable by means
of which the probe can be positioned at the
lowest point of the double walled tank or in
a drip tray. If the capacitive sensor gets in
contact with leaked fl uid a signal is send via
a potential free relay in the same way as from
the SGS sensor.
Limit switch SGS
The limit switch SGS is used to secure that
the maximum fi lling level of a tank can not be
exceeded. Assembly and height adjustment
happen by means of a G2“ threaded fi tting.
When liquid gets in contact with the sensor a
signal is given via a potential free relay.

Pressure relief valve DHV 712-R
Pressure relief valves are used to achieve
and maintain constant operation pressures,
to prevent pressure pulsation and to protect
other pipeline components from pressure
peaks.
The patented pressure relief valve DHV 712-R
contains a high quality spring system
and can be adjusted for pressure ranges
between 0.3 - 10.0 bar. If the pressure on
the inlet side of the valves reaches the set
pressure the valve opens reliably. With
its special piston design the DHV 712-R is
100% back pressure tight and therefore
additionally acts as a non return valve. In
combination with pulsating dosing pumps
the 712-R reaches an outstanding and low-
vibration regulation result.

Pressure relief valve DHV 712
The DHV 712 is equipped with the same back
pressure tight piston design as the 712-R. It is
designed for bigger diameters and available
for different pressure ranges. Like all other
ASV pressure relief valves it can be precisely
adjusted while being pressurised. The high
quality PTFE liner on the actuation diaphragm
makes it the perfect match for a wide range
of aggressive fl uids. With its special piston
design the DHV 712 supplies a constant
operation pressure even in systems with
variable back pressure levels.

Pressure relief valve DHV 725
Valves from series DHV 725 are diaphragm
actuated pressure relief valves. The seat seal
is a guided piston design. With the extended
actuator bonnet very precise adjustment
over the full pressure range of 0.2 - 10 bar
can be achieved. The high reproducibility of
the actuation pressure and the reliable and
low-vibration regulation behaviour are the key
features of this valve.

The pressure relief valves DHV 715 and DHV 716
operate along the same working principles
as the DHV 725. They are fi tted with different
spring packages and designed for different
pressure ranges. Because of their different
switching points the valves of series DHV 715,
DHV 716 and DHV 725 cover a wide range of
different applications and pressure settings.

Pressure relief valve DHV 718
The diaphragm operated DHV 718 is a very
reliable and straight forward design, that is
available also for very small diameters. It is
equipped with the same high- quality PTFE-
lined diaphragm as all the other ASV pressure
relief valves. But while it is a diaphragm-only
design it is also suitable for partly particle-
loaded or contaminated fl uids.

Pressure reducing valves start closing once a
preset inlet pressure is reached and supply
a constant output pressure. The downstream
side from the valve is therefore securely pro-
tected from being over-pressurised.
The DMV 750 is one of the biggest available
pressure reducing valves made of thermoplas-
tics. It is equipped with a high-grade PTFE lined
diaphragm. The valve features a very constant
and low vibration regulation behaviour and the
high reproducibility of the set inlet pressure.
The DMV 750 has a working range from
1.0 - 6.0 bar.

This valve has the same basic designs as
the DMV 755, but is fi tted with an extended
actuator bonnet and a correspondingly
specifi c spring package. Because of this it
has a softer response behaviour and can be
very precisely adjusted for output pressures
ranging from 0.5 - 9.0 bar.
DMV 755
The DMV 755 is a regulation valve to securely re-
duce variable inlet pressures to constant output
pressures. The DMV has an output range from
1.0 - 9.0 bar. Like all other ASV pressure valves
it is fi tted with a PTFE coated diaphragm and is
therefore suitable for most aggressive fl uids.

Pressure gauges
ASV offers a wide variety of pressure gauges
according to chemical industry standards.
These are available in different pressure
ranges up to 10 bar with standard process
connections and housings made from
stainless steel and inspection glasses made
from safety glass in undamped and damped
versions.

Pressure gauge guards protect pressure meters
from aggressive fl uids. The system pressure
is transferred by a generously dimensioned
separating diaphragm and a transmitter liquid
to the pressure meter. Standard socket con-
nectors and female thread ports allow an easy
installation.

Pressure and temperature sensor PTM
ASV Stübbe`s PTM is an intelligent sensor
unit for monitoring pressure and temperature
ranges. The sensor consists of a compact
housing and can be easily integrated into
pipeline systems by means of a DN 25 fi tting
according to DIN 8063. The chip inside the
sensor can process pressures from 0 - 10 bar
and temperatures from 0 - 70°C. It is ideal as
a pump guard or for fi lter monitoring and is
also available with a separated sensor probe
comparable to the HFT.

Programming and optical output of the
data from the PTM happens by means of an
optional plug-in display. This has an internal
memory and can be used to operate several
PTM units and conveniently copy once preset
system settings onto all units inside a system.
Like with all other ASV plug-in display sensors
the user can choose from various signal
output interfaces. For connecting to a PLC or
the direct control of a system component a
current output version 0/4..20 mA is available
for constant feedback. Optionally the unit
can be supplied with a relay module. This
offers four freely programmable relays which
allow a variety of parameters like pressure,
temperature, time-links or hysteresis/window
operation.

C 100 Prop
The proportional ball valve C 100 Prop is a
product from the C 100 range. The proporti-
onal ball makes it a regulation device with a
linear fl ow characteristic. The fl ow volumes
are similar to a diaphragm valve MV 310 of
the same size.
The proportional ball valve has a standard
90° degree actuation and comes with an
clearly readable scale on all manually
operated valves.

The Profi Dos 101 is suitable for fi ne dosing
or regulation purposes. The valve opens and
closes over a 180° angle and can be adjusted
very precisely.
With the scale underneath the hand lever
settings can be reproduced and documented.
The dosing ball valves, like all other valves
from the Profi series, has a standard thread
connection according to DIN 8063.

Water jet pump SP 820
Water jet pumps work according to the venturi-
principle. The SP 820 is used in a host of
applications such as blending, mixing, dosing
and transporting of liquids and gasses. It is
self-priming, got no moving mechanical parts
and is very robust and reliable.
