Philadelphia Film Festival – Oct. 22 - Nov. 1The 10-day festival features more than 100 films from 35 countries divided into more than a dozen helpful categories.

An annual fall gathering designed to showcase Philly’s parks that includes music, food trucks, drinks, live entertainment and special surprises.This year will be held at the Smith Memorial Arch in West Fairmount Park.

Philadelphia Marathon Results

• Secured Cheer Zone sponsorship at the intersection of Kelly Drive and Sedgeley Avenue

• Received two tickets at the Philadelphia Marathon Mayor’s Reception

• Printed 100 foam branded signs with PTP logo for spectators to customize their own signs

• Hosted an operations meeting for the marathon staff prior to event; potential for such hosting in the future

• Lacked PTP staff presence at reception and marathon; possibility of having someone in a dedicated role for future events

Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia – Nov./Dec.

Nonprofit advocacy group working to improve conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians in the Philadelphia region through advocacy and education.In line with PTP’s target demographic of cyclists as potential renters

Potential Opportunity:• Host series of biking-related classes e.g. Urban Biking

101• Sponsor the Vision Zero Conference, a policy that

seeks to reduce all traffic deaths in a given area to zero in a set amount of time

• Host an event with Women Bike PHL- in Philadelphia, one third of bicyclists are women. This group aims to make cycling more fun and feasible for Philly women.

• Secured a Silver sponsorship for the first-ever Vision Zero Conference to make streets safer for pedestrians and cyclists

• Attended by over 250 people, including many leaders in city government; received coverage in all major media outlets in Philadelphia

• #VisionZeroPHL was trending all day on Twitter• Mayor-Elect Jim Kenney made an appearance

• Toured PTP with Bicycle Coalition staff on 12/15; potential to host spring rides, Bike Build event, or host meetings on site

• Lacked PTP presence at both the gala and the conference

Habitat Philadelphia Young Professionals – Nov. or Dec.

Part of Habitat for Humanity; network of professionals from the Greater Philadelphia area who support the mission of building houses, building hope and building Philly. Habitat Young Professionals has 150 members and growing in the 22-40 age group.

Potential Opportunities:• Host one of their monthly “Habi-Hours” at The Oar Pub• Have a group build a house, potentially on-site at PTP• Sponsor the Building HOPE luncheon

Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS)

Advocates for, educates & connects leaders in the design and building industry. Philly chapter has more than 120 members and a mailing list of more than 600 A/E/C professionals

Upcoming & Potential Events/Sponsorships

• Began an exciting relationship with the Bicycle Coalition; they are ready to work on some event collaboration and partnerships for 2016. Jackie from PTP was especially excited about getting info on functional sculptures like the Art Museum has that can double as bike parking in front of PTP.

• Reached out to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) and the Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA) about sponsoring events in the future; they are waiting on PTP to get back to them

• Brokered a deal with the Philadelphia American Marketing Association (PAMA) to host an event at PTP in mid-January 2016

• Reached out to the Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia Young Professionals; there is potential for a PTP pool party in June 2016

o Contact the Bicycle Coalition about getting sculptures for short-term bike parking on site at PTP.

o Continue fostering new relationships with Philadelphia groups that target the demographics of potential PTP renters
