Students can select between 6 to 30 ECTS per semester within one single track. Allocation to track and courses will be done based on student completion of prerequisites & availabilities. PSB Paris School of Business' 5-year Grande Ecole Program consists of three years of Bachelor

level studies and two years of Master level studies. Exchange students can select from three

different tracks (3 at Undergraduate level and 1 at Postgraduate level) and undertake from 6 to 30

Course Description: Le cours Marketing Fondamental se compose de plusieurs parties: une introduction aux concepts de base du marketing suivie d'une définition du marché et de son analyse, une présentation détaillée du comportement du consommateur ainsi que du processus de décision. Ce cours contient aussi une partie portant sur le marketing stratégique avec une présentation des notions de segmentation, ciblage et positionnement. La pédagogie se base sur des exercices, des cas pratiques, des présentations orales en vue de faire passer de la théorie à la pratique.

Course Description: L'enseignement se propose d'éclairer les grandes problématiques contemporaines liées aux médias et à l'information par des apports de moments clés de l'histoire médiatique: le questionnement sur l'indépendance des journalistes vis -à-vis de la politique, au regard des 250 ans de censure française depuis la Gazette de Renaudot, fondée sous l'impulsion de Richelieu, et celle de l'indépendance économique, posée déjà au 19e siècle; ou les débats sur la liberté d'expression, dont les lois de 1881 témoignent d'un long et perpétuel combat…

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: Une histoire longue des médias devra permettre de décrypter les rapports contemporains à la censure, la liberté, le pouvoir; parallèlement, l'analyse de la construction de l'information doit permettre se saisir sa subjectivité essentielle. Course Description: Le cours permet de comprendre les logiques économiques et politiques des grandes puissances émergentes, d’analyser les mécanismes d’implantation des entreprises dans ces économies émergentes d’évaluer les risques pour les investisseurs, d’anticiper les évolutions à venir, de comprendre les cultures étrangères et être en mesure de mener une négociation dans un milieu culturel diffèrent.

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: L’enseignement sur les « enjeux culturels et sociaux en Asie et en Amérique latine » vise à acquérir des méthodes de raisonnement et un savoir fondamental. L’approche pluridisciplinaire permet d’appréhender dans sa globalité et sa diversité les principales caractéristiques locales. Au terme de cette formation, l’étudiant aura une connaissance approfondie des enjeux et des défis contemporains de cette région. L’objectif du cours sur les « enjeux économiques » est d’apporter une compréhension des enjeux économiques et politiques contemporains, plus particulièrement des puissances émergentes asiatiques et latino -américaines. L’enseignement dispensé vise à acquérir des méthodes de raisonnement et un savoir fondamental. L’approche pluridisciplinaire permet d’appréhender dans leur globalité et leur diversité les pri ncipales économies mondiales. Course Description: Basic concepts of statistics useful for modeling economic and financial phenomena are discussed, such as the construction and the use of an index, the calculation of probabilities to specify a financial analysis or marketing. The work is based on case studies taken from the life of the companies, the financial markets or the economy, such as the study of the launching of a commercial product on a population.

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: The purpose of this course is to develop the operation al tools of statistics and probabilities needed by managers and executives in business or finance.

Course Description: Ce module se compose de trois matières. D’une part, la matière Etude de marché aborde principalement la démarche de réalisation d’études de marché quantitatives mettant en évidence les objectifs et détaillant la méthodologie d’une enquête par questionnaire. Les étapes de l'élaboration d'une étude sont abordées: la distinction entre une problématique marketing et le(s) problème(s) d'étude, la définition de la cible d'étude, les méthodes d'échantillonnage et les modes de collecte des données, les règles de construction d'un questionnaire, ainsi que la saisie et l'analyse des données et les recommandations managér iales. Une formation dédiée à l'analyse de données sous le logiciel Sphinx est dispensée. D’autre part, la matière Etude terrain permet aux étudiants de mettre en application l’ensemble des éléments théoriques abordés dans le cadre du cours Etude de marché. Enfin, la matière Techniques de vente aborde le contact avec le client et les différentes phases de la négociation, de la préparation de l’entretien et l’argumentation à la proposition de solutions adaptées aux besoins spécifiques. Ce cours s’appuie sur des ateliers de travail en groupe afin d’appliquer les éléments théoriques vus en classe.

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: S’inscrivant dans la continuité des cours marketing fondamental et opérationnel, ce module vise à apporter aux étudiants les outils nécessaires à la prise de décisions commerciales. En effet, il vise à présenter l’utilité et la pertinence des études de marché dans la démarche stratégique globale d’une entreprise selon les objectifs souhaités. Il cherche également à form er les étudiants à l’élaboration complète d’une étude terrain, de la définition de la problématique jusqu’à la prise de décisions managériales. Enfin, il forme les étudiants à la préparation et la mise en œuvre d’une vente efficiente sur le terrain.

Course Description: While the first year course focused on describing the main economic mechanisms, this course focuses on the acquisition on monetary and financing mechanisms of the economy. It describes financing channels for the main economic agents. It also presents monetary concepts and measures, and introduces some theory thoughts. Finally, this course explains how conducted monetary policy is. This module aims at providing students with academic knowledge and major mechanisms used making the student understand monetary environment of the firm. This course is connected to others courses of the second year, especially French Banking System and Financial Markets. In addition, it provides a solid foundation for the course in International Firm Strategy in M1.

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: The aim of the course is to improve understanding of the economic environment of the company enabling the future manager to make the best decisions. Course Description: Le cours de Compor tements Organisationnels est un cours d’initiation au management et aux théories des organisations à destination des étudiants de deuxième année. Il propose d’aborder les enjeux des comportements individuels et collectifs dans les organisations par une app roche théorique et empirique. L’objectif de ce cours est de permettre aux étudiants de développer leur connaissance sur le fonctionnement des entreprises ; d’acquérir des grilles de compréhension et d’analyse des situations qui seront rencontrées dans l’or ganisation ; de renforcer leur esprit critique (à la fois moteur pour leur réflexion personnelle et pour leurs actions professionnelles) et leur capacité de synthèse (face à leur quotidien qui deviendra toujours plus complexe). Il pose finalement les bases d’une prise de conscience de leurs responsabilités citoyennes en tant que futurs managers.

Course Objectives & Expected Learning Outcomes: Ce cours d’introduction au management a pour but de donner les bases théoriques et pratiques de la gestion des organisations. A l’issue de ce cours, l’étudiant doit avoir une vision globale du fonctionnement des entreprises et des premières notions clés en stratégie, gestion des ressources humaines et de projet. Après une introduction sur les enjeux du management et d es entreprises, nous aborderons dans le cours de Comportements Organisationnels différentes thématiques du management d’un point de vue individuel, collectif et sociétal : motivation et leadership ; pouvoir, autorité et décision ; structures et changements ; cultures ; la responsabilité sociétale des entreprises ; l’entrepreneuriat et l’innovation. Ces différents thèmes seront abordés d’abord par la présentation des fondamentaux théoriques et des cas d’entreprises ainsi qu’à travers des cas d’application et des mises en situation ; puis par un travail en groupe autour de problématiques spécifiques dans le cadre d’une interview d’un manager. ..
