Psalm 23 teaches us how God our shepherd feeds us and leads us to places of rest. God knows us, cares for us, and gives us everything we need. He knows that we need rest to love and serve other people.
Caterpillow Neck Pillow – Create a cute neck pillow to support your head when you sleep sitting up. Fill up a long sock to make this pillow critter and get some rest!
Gentle Ocean Bottle – Use simple ingredients from home to make a beautiful ocean in a bottle. Watch the waves and colours and find a peaceful place to rest.
Psalm 23 Colouring Contest – We would love to see your beautiful colouring! Can you learn Psalm 23 by heart? See how much you can remember.

Caterpillow Neck Pillow Materials: Long sock, rice or lentils, kitchen funnel, elastic band, permanent marker, paint/brush (optional).
To Make: Find a long sock in your home (with no holes) to use as your Caterpillow. Insert a kitchen funnel at the sock opening and begin to pour in rice. Every now and then lift your sock and let the rice fall down to the bottom. Continue filling the sock leaving 3" at the top.
Wrap an elastic band several times around your sock just above the rice. Make sure that no rice can leak out. Add a smile and eyes with a permanent marker or with paint to the other end of your sock where your toes would normally be.
Enjoy the rest God provides by wrapping your Caterpillow around your neck and have a relaxing break.
Gentle Ocean Bottle Materials: Plastic water bottle, water, cooking oil, blue food colouring, funnel, glue
To Make: Add 1/3 cup of water to a clean plastic water bottle using a funnel. Add several drops of blue food colouring, put the lid on and shake. Take the lid off and fill the rest of the bottle with cooking oil. Glue the lid on to secure. Tip and shake your bottle upside down and watch blobs of colour swoosh and mix. Enjoy the restful and gentle rolling of the water.
