P: The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. L: He fulfills the desire of all who fear him; he also hears their cry, and saves them. P: The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. L: My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and all flesh will bless his holy name forever and ever. Hebrews 10:19-23 (NRSV) Therefore, my friends, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain (that is, through his flesh), and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. John 14:1-3, 18-19, 25-27 (NRSV) "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. "I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live, you also will live. "I have said these things to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. 5

Postlude “A Song of Praise” Mildred Zeliadt

Welcome! We are a community of faith in worship and action,

open to all in the spirit and love of God.

Please sign the friendship pad in the pew. Everyone is welcome to stay for a cup of coffee in Fellowship Hall following the worship service. We welcome children in our worship service. However, if necessary, we do have a nursery and cry room on the second floor. It is unat-tended so you will need to remain with your child. The cry room is located to the left at the top of the stairs and a nursery is located to the right (4th doorway) at the top of the stairs. Our audio system allows you to hear the service in either of these locations.
