TOGETHER WE DREAM, GROWAND PROSPER
Dear Prospera Friends, Sponsors and Partners, Once again, thanks to all of you, Prospera’s ThirdAnnual Summit for Latina Entrepreneurs was agreat success! Prospera’s Annual Summit is the kind of magicalexperience that is only possible when a powerfulcommunity of Latina entrepreneurs is in the leadfrom start to finish. Every single workshop, panel, activity - and even the food - was organized by acommittee of volunteers. This year was also about venturing into newterritory connecting health, wealth, cooperationand entrepreneurship and creating community isan essential part of that. As one of the participantssaid: “I learned how important it is to care forourselves and to care for each other. When wehave our health and we have each other we cando so much.” Learning to create greater balance between caringfor ourselves and launching a business isabsolutely key to our success. This kind of wisdomdoes not come easy. It comes with the manychallenging experiences lived by Prospera’sentrepreneurs in the daily struggle to createcooperative businesses that impact our wholecommunity. Indeed this Summit confirms that we are on theright track. Participants asked for more, so we planto add a new component community educationprograms - stay tuned for health & wellness clinics!
