Health & Fitness Consultation including the following therapies:
Acupressure
Acupressure uses gentle to firm finger pressure in the pressure points and meridians
much like acupuncture does with the use of needles. As these acupressure points are
stimulated, muscular tension releases, circulation of blood is promoted, and the body's
life force energy is enhanced to aid in healing.
Naturopathy
Naturopathic medicine is a science-based tradition that promotes wellness by
identifying the unique aspects of each patient and then employing non-toxic natural
therapies to restore his or her physiological, psychological, and structural balance.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the medicinal use of water for positive health benefits. These health
benefits come from the mechanical and thermal effects of water interacting with the
body. It includes the use of physical water properties, specifically temperature and
pressure, and sometimes the delivery of minerals or herbal treatments to manipulate
the body’s flow of blood, the endocrine system and associated neural systems in order
to treat the symptoms of certain diseases.
Aroma Therapy
Aromatherapy is one of the oldest methods of holistic healing equipped to rejuvenate
the body, mind and spirit with the use of fragrance or aroma.
Diet Therapy
Healthy diet is one that helps to maintain or improve overall health.
A healthy diet provides the body with essential nutrition: fluid, adequate essential acids from protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and adequate calories. The requirements for a healthy diet can be met from a variety of plant-based and animal-based foods. A healthy diet supports energy needs and provides for human nutrition without exposure to toxicity or excessive weight gain from consuming excessive amounts. Where lack of calories is not an issue, a properly balanced diet (in addition to exercise) is also thought to be important for lowering health risks, such as obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension and cancer.
Magneto Therapy
Magnetic therapy is an alternative medical practice that uses static (i.e. unmoving)
magnets to alleviate pain and other health concerns. So-called therapeutic magnets are
typically integrated into bracelets, rings, or shoe inserts, though therapeutic magnetic
mattresses and clothing are also on the market.
Reiki Healing
Reiki works on different levels the Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual enhancing
everything in life. One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefit is Stress Reduction and
Relaxation, which triggers the body’s natural healing abilities (immune system), aids in
better sleep and improves and maintains health.
Yoga & Meditation
Yoga integrates Body, Mind, and Spirit. Yoga has been around for about 5000 years, and
while many regard it as just another form of exercise-some even see it as a “fad”-it’s
really a comprehensive practice that integrates mental, physical, and spiritual elements.
Meditation is relaxation. It is not about concentration. It’s actually about de-
concentration. It’s not about focusing one’s thoughts on one thing, but instead on
becoming thoughtless.
