Objectives and results of the action

Wider Objective:

To contribute to international and local efforts in responding to developing migrant/refugee crisis in Serbia. Immediate Objective: To provide direct assistance to migrants/refugees through integrated measures including:

a) Reception camps’ organisation and management;

b) Support to national and local authorities in charge to better tackle the crisis.

Results:

R1: Significantly better preconditions for accommodation of migrants/refugees during winter period secured through planning, organisation and

establishment of Reception Refugee Camps in Serbia as the accommodation stand points for migrants/refugees with the supporting services;

R2: The migrant/refugee-related government actions strongly facilitated through complementary assistance provided for host local communities and

Objectives and results of the action

Wider Objective:

To provide humanitarian Aid to the refugees from Syria in Serbia and FRYOM. Immediate Objective: is to provide elementary support to refugees in Subotica, Kanjiza and Tabanovci by establishing basic facilities for winter and by providing food, non-food and hygiene parcels as well as medical volunteer support

Results:

1. Two Dormitory buildings of 550m2, with capacity of 150 beds completely re(constructed) and equipped with the basic furniture working in full capacity;

2. Improved technical conditions in Subotica and Presevo camp.

3. Improving sanitary conditions in the shelters

4. Additional 30 toilets and 40 containers are at disposal at the Subotica, Kanjiza and Presevo camps

5. Providing 18.000 food, non-food and hygiene parcels

6. Distributed 23 000 aid kits to the refugees.

7. Providing adequate medical and other volunteer support

8. Volunteer medical and other necessary support at disposal on a daily basis on the locations.

Objectives and results of the action

Wider Objective:

To achieve a more dynamic civil society actively participating in public debate on democracy, human rights, social inclusion and the rule of law and with capacity to influence policy and decision-making processes. Immediate Objective:

a) To achieve greater commitment and capacity of CSO networks to give citizens a voice and influence public sector reform processes through analysis,

monitoring and advocacy;

b) To strengthen the Networks dealing with SSD in target countries in order to improve overall service delivery;

Results:

1. Joint strategic and advocacy targets for networks of CSOs delivering social services (SSD) set;

2. Dialogue between CSOs and government institutions significantly increased for direct influence on SSD sector;

3. Public sector reforms successfully influenced trough conducted Advocacy campaigns on reform of SSD sector in the target countries;

4. Quality of social services provided by the CSOs risen through adequate Mentoring, Training and Small Grants programs thus making CSOs more

accountable partner in the SSD sector;

Objectives and results of the action

Wider Objective: to contribute to sound implementation of strategies for refugees, IDPs and returnees according to Readmission Agreements. Immediate Objective: to provide durable housing solutions to IDPs, refugees and returnees in Serbia. Results:

a) at least 6 CCs in Serbia prepared for closure in the four project municipalities through the provision of durable housing solutions to residing beneficiary families,

b) at least 73 families provided with durable housing solutions and are able to leave Collective Accommodation and integrate in the Serbian Society,

c) at least 59 prefabricated housing units constructed for 73 families (45 standard + 14 double families prefabs) and inhabited by refugee, IDP and returnee families within 4 municipalities currently residing in CCs,

d) Dissemination of best practices and lessons learnt during the project available to and used by other stakeholders and awareness on importance of caring for target groups risen and

e) Monitoring and evaluation activities performed during the action, providing smooth implementation.

b) Employment rate among refugees and IDPs decreased as well as improved economic position of refugees and IDPs and their families and the output is at 4 middle-aged unemployed IDPs with long term unemployment record recruited as home care assistants within the HCS;

c) Employment rate among middle age unemployed local population decreased as well as their improved economic position and of their families and output is 4 middle-aged unemployed representatives of local population with long term unemployment record recruited as home care assistants within the Home Care Service;

d) :At least 94 elderly and disabled persons in target area significantly improved their living conditions through provision of individual and specific HCS assistance by the 8 newly employed home care assistants and output is 94 vulnerable elderly and disabled persons will receive specific social service at their home provided by 8 home care assistants during a 10 month period;

e) At least 15 representatives of the IDC, CSW and relevant municipal departments significantly increased their skills and capacities while implementing proposed

action.

d) 100 project beneficiaries receive training and mentoring support in business start-up and make a proper use of it;

e) 50 most successful economic beneficiaries receive in-kind support for the start-up of their registered business and create self-employment;

Support activities that allow the dignified voluntary repatriation of refugees to BiH as well as to support activities fostering the integration process of those refugees who have decided to integrate in Serbia.

Immediate Objective: Facilitate removal of remaining obstacles to sustainable, voluntary repatriation and reintegration 600 Bosnian Serb families to BiH. Support the socio-economic integration process of 400 Serb refugee families from Croatia and BIH who have decided to integrate in Serbia. Enhance the capacity of cross-border civil sector, return related structures and promote firmer cross-border linkages between various return initiatives and actions.

Results: a) At least 600 refugee families still residing in Serbia provided with legal aid assistance, related to the return of private property/socially owned apartments, within BiH in order to return to their pre-war residence. At least 600 project households assisted in transportation to return locations;

b) At least 200 beneficiaries received economic assistance through training and counselling in the start-up of their proper business within Serbia;

c) At least 200 beneficiaries received assistance in job application procedures- CV writing and job interview preparations;

d) At least 400 minority families received assistance to ensure social integration;

e) Financial and technical assistance provided for two Mobile Project Teams of the local partners in the two project countries.
