UoR Curriculum Framework

PROJECT MANAGEMENT TEMPLATE FOR DOCUMENTING CURRICULUM REVIEWCurriculum design is a messy and iterative process. Rather than completing this whole form at the outset, this intention is that it should be completed and updated throughout the process. For example the Rationale and Results would have to be discussed and agreed before moving on to completing the other sections.

1. RATIONALE

Drivers What are the reasons for undertaking the review in addition to aligning the programme(s) with the CF?

Aim In broad terms what is the purpose of the review and what does it intend to achieve and/or change?

Objective In broad terms what are we going to do?

2. RELATIONSHIPS

Review Sponsor

Who is accountable for the review? e.g. HoS/HoS and/or SDTL/DDTL

CF Lead (s) Who is responsible for the day-to-day planning, leadership and co-ordination of the review? e.g. SDTL/DDTL for School/Departmental review; Programme Director for Programme level review; or CF Lead(s) outside of the current organisational structures.

Who else will be involved?

e.g. module convenors and other staff involved in teaching, students, employers etc.

3. RESULTS

Outcomes Success criteria

Deliverables What will be created in the short term? E.g. working groups to lead on various strands of the work
