My mom was born in Long Island, New York. When my mom was fifteen she moved here because her grandparents had retired. She got here during her sophomore year and ended up going to North Stanly High School. This is where she met my dad.

My dad was born in Panama and moved here when he was three. He went to Richfield Elementary School on Highway 52. He went there for kindergarten and grades 1-8. From here he went to North Stanly High School. My dad met my mom her sophomore year and his freshman year.

My dad proposed to her at a movie theater, and they got married in Pfeiffer Chapel. On March 5,

1989.

My brother’s name is Keaton and he is 12 years old and attends North Stanly Middle School.His favorite food is ribs with french fries and mac & cheese. He enjoys watching Tom & Jerry and playing basketball. Keaton’s best subject in school is math.

My name is Spencer, I am 14 years old, and I am a freshman at Gray Stone Day School. My favorite food is a flat iron steak with mashed potatoes. I

enjoy just about any kind of sport with a ball.

My family has three pets. Two dogs and a cat.

Our first dog is named Camille. She is a brown and black beagle and is about 10 years old.

Our second dog is named Gadget. She is a pound puppy. There was a lady whose husband found the litter of puppies and the mother. He ended up taking the litter and the mother to the pound because the mother was vicious. They pound was going to put the mother and the litter to sleep because they thought that the puppies might be like their mother too. My parents fought to get the puppies out. We were able to save all of the puppies but not the mother. The puppies went to wonderful homes and we got one of them.

We also have a cat. Her name is IreLynn, and she is a year old. When she was no more than a few weeks old she was found in a storm drain and

taken to an animal shelter for cats in Concord. This is where we got her.

My dad has always been interested in sports. Anything with a ball he likes. He likes golf, basketball, baseball, and football. His favorite baseball team is the Atlanta Braves. And his favorite football team is the Colts.

My mom does not like sports like my dad. Even though she does not like sports, she does have a favorite baseball team. They are the New York Yankees. She likes old things and being able to fix things up. She likes to read Southern Living magazine.

I like all sports just like my dad. I like basketball, softball/baseball, golf, volleyball, and football. I do not have a favorite basketball team but my favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. I do not watch golf or volleyball, but I play both. I like watching football but I have no idea what is going on. And I like to read.

I have a brother and he does not, like to read like me and my mom. He does like watching sports and playing them but he is not as into it as my dad and myself. He is really into video games. He likes puzzles and math. He is really good at doing math in his head.

My cat likes to look out windows and catch bugs. We have a window in the front of our house that she likes to look out. She also has a blue fuzzy sock that she likes to lug around and sleep with.

Our first dog, Camille, likes to go off into the woods and roam.

The second dog, Gadget, likes to roam too. But she will only go if Camille goes. She also likes to swim in our pool. She has a little stuffed animal, it’s a teddy bear. She lugs this around just like

IreLynn does.
