TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN/ LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Mahasiswa memahami konsep berfikir secara statistik dan mampu menerapkannya untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan pada bidang bisnis dan industri. Students have good knowledge in theoretical and applied statistics for supporting decision making process in managing business and industry.

� Mahasiswa dapat menyelesaikan suatu masalah secara statistik, merancang dan membuktikan kebenaran hipotesis penelitian

� Mahasiswa dapat menganalisis sistem dengan membentuk generalisasinya melalui model-model statistik, seperti: regresi, peramalan, dan reliabilitas

� Mahasiswa dapat menentukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada suatu sistem baik secara univariate maupun multivariate

� Students are able to solve a problem using statistics, to design and to prove research hypotheses

� Students are able to analyze system and to generalize it using statistic models, such as: regression, forecasting, and reliability

� Students are able to determine factors, which influence a system using univariate or multivariate techniques

Mahasiswa mampu memiliki cara pandang komprehensif tentang konsep-konsep dasar manajemen operasional yang diaplikasikan pada industri manufakturing dan jasa dengan aksentuasi khusus pada teknik dan metode kuantitatif. Students have a comprehensive knowledge on basic concepts of operation management that can be implemented in manufacturing and service industries with an emphasis in technical and quantitative approach.

Mahasiswa memahami konsep dan prinsip-prinsip manajemen teknologi, inovasi dan technopreneurship dan diharapkan mampu membuat skenario penerapan dan pengembangannya untuk bisa mendapatkan keunggulan bersaing bagi perusahaan. Students understand the concepts and principles of management of technology, innovation and technopreneurship. They are expected to be able to create a scenario for it’s implementation and development for gaining a competitive advantage for the company.

� Mahasiswa dapat memahami konsep/prinsip manajemen teknologi dan inovasi dan dapat mengerti pentingnya inovasi dalam bisnis

Memberi kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk bisa menyusun rencana penelitian terapan atau kajian kasus nyata atau implementasi model dengan metodologi yang dikembangkan ke dalam problem di bidang keahliannya secara analitis, kritis dan mandiri. To allow students to design a plan for conducting an applied research, or real case evaluation, or model implementation, using a methodology which is developed from a research problem, which is relevant to their fields of expertise. Students are expected to implement their research activities analytically, critically, and independently.

This course is intended to integrate business function courses that have been given at the earlier semesters. The topics discussed include environmental analysis, industry and competition, company strategic resources, competitive strategies, cooperative and corporation, evaluation of strategic options and strategy implementation in the structure devices, system and organization culture. Case studies are given as integral parts of this course in order to sharpen student’s analytical skills.
