    Dear Members and FriendsNamaskar

    In addition to ongoing regular pooja, religious group pooja and social activities, Board hasorganized Annual Picnic with a variety of stall, programs and children activities, and BHAGWATKATHA - led by Acharya Shiv Shankar Dwivedi. Those who attended and took part in celebrationand rituals will attest the success.

    Hindu Society of Alberta is proud to offer Saraswati group pooja for Children, Radha Ashthm

    Celebration, Shraddh group pooja, Diwali Group pooja, Navratri Pooja and Mata Ki Chowki, aresome of the special activities over next four months. Detail of activities and program can beviewed inside the newsletter. Shri Hanuman anusthan - Part 4 will be concluded from October 18to October 20, 2013. Please come with your family and friends to participate the enjoyablemoments.

    Hindu Cultural center is 35 year old building which needs the reroofing of roof, refurbishing odomes (exterior and interior), repair of window wells, concrete work- all around building withaprons, repair of exterior stucco and paint, replacement of old furnaces and windows. The fundsto complete the project will be raised from the donors like you and through funding agencies inAlberta.

    I would like to inform that last year Board of Hindu Society of Alberta had approved a new

    position to open Hindu Cultural center for extended hours and holidays, attend the tradesmen forepairing and maintenance of the building, clean the prayer area, keep inventory for programsand building. In addition he should have knowledge of Hindu Culture and Religion. Most of Boardmembers are working and are unable to be at Hindu Cultural Center during day time and oddhours when center is closed. Board is working to fill this position.

    At end I request you to visit the Hindu Cultural Center regularly and participate in programs. Weneed your support and suggestions, and together we can make difference. We will make surethat your visits to the Hindu Cultural Centre are comfortable and enjoyable. If you need anyfurther information, please call me at 780-951-3700 or email at [email protected].
