Born 17 August 1986, a young creative designer from The
Netherlands. Searching for and crav-ing to develop and publish his
own and unique designvision, covering a wide range of
designdi-rections. A great variety of products and projects showing
the di erent faces of this designer are conducted to trigger your
interest. From pro-ductdesign to complete urban visions, this
gar-den- & landscapedesigner tries to cover it all. Contrast
and statements are main features in designs of Erwin Elschott who's
roots lay some-where between The Netherlands and Brittany. Aiming
for a swift and permanent return to the Armor (country of the sea)
where the way of li-ving is a major contrast to the busy streets of
the 21st century Dutch cities. Goal for the nearby fu-ture is to
establish an own atelier located in the middle of nowhere within a
comfortable reach

of the cities opportunities. This contradiction, or contrast,
will be majorly in uential when sear-ching for designstudios. The
imagecompilation visualizes his favorite landscape, from which he
draws his inspiration. The importance of even the smallest of
details is huge in the proces of sculpting a new and unique design.
Shape, texture and color are the essence of any design, carefully
placed in it's context with a dose of personal creativeness added.
Visual contrast will result in a statement of design.

Postmodernism, urban and diversi cation are three catchwords of
the vision. In which post-modernism stands for diversity,
combination of styles and revolt against the status quo. Urban is a
main theme and describes the area of interest for this designer.
Most projects are located with-in de cityborders, why? Because it
is an interes-ting area in need of problemsolving designs. Diversi
cation is important because there is no such thing as the one and
only truth. Cre-ativeness and the urge of redesigning the pre-face
thrive this young designer to make sure a unique product is
delivered every single time. Adding the catchwords statement,
design and artchitecture to complete the vision. Today's society
equals mediocre, softminded and scared designers, therefore a
strong design-language is needed. By creating highly visual
and confronting images statements are made, with landart,
streetartists and almost megalo-maniac size landmarks. Design is
considered more of an artform then a standard routine.
Subconsciousness and faith are other important factors which in
uence the proces of design. Architecture is fused together with art
to make statements even more bold and direct.
