Lagonda History
• Founded more than 100 years ago by opera singer Wilbur Gunn,
named after the river Lagonda Creek close to his hometown
Springfield, Ohio, USA
• The media gave LAGONDA the nickname “Bentley of the ordinary
man”
• The LAGONDA Rapide was driven to victory in Le Mans in 1935
• In 1935, after the World Economic Crisis, the lawyer lan Good bought
the company (outbidding Rolls-Royce) and founded LAGONDA
Motors Ltd
• For the new start, Good hired the legendary W.O. Bentley, who was
employed at Rolls-Royce, the company who bought his own brand
• 1947, after another though economical phase of the company, David
Brown, who already owned Aston Martin, bought the brand and its
technology

Paint Technology
Lagonda features a range of 3 new exclusive paints that represent the
ultimate in technology and effects in strong daylight
Platinum White
• A shimmering Pearlescent white created through a technically
challenging three-coat paint process and utilising modern Xirallic
ingredients to subtly increase paint movement . A clean white base
coat with delicate overtones of gold Xirallic pearl suspended under a
clear coat have created an opulent white, emphasising haunch lines
with accents of both gold and bronze tones.
Topaz Gold
• A stunning double-effect layer gold created through a technically
challenging three-coat paint process. Gold pearl suspended beneath
a clear coat, layered over an effect metallic base layer, creates a rich
gold with Bronze tone which changes subtly over the curves and
tension lines in bodywork.
Topaz Chrome
• A stunning double-effect layer gold created through a technically
challenging three-coat paint process and utilising modern Xirallic
ingredients to subtly increase paint movement. Gold Xirallic pearl
suspended beneath a clear coat, layered over an effect metallic base
layer, creates a rich gold metallic with a subtle shift from yellow-gold
to green-gold, creating interest and emphasising both curves and
haunch lines.
