2. All items are priced and sold in US dollars.

3. All lots are sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

and email to: [email protected]. Alternatively, requests can be mailed to the address

below.

5. Confirmation of availability and a corresponding invoice will be sent within two (2) days of

receipt of any requests.

6. Additional charge for Postage and shipping will be added and detailed in the invoice. Sales

over $100 will be sent via registered mail or DHL courier or as agreed with the buyer.

7. Payment options: Paypal; US, UK or Australian Cheque; or Direct Deposit to US, UK or

Australian bank (details will be provided with invoice).

8. NVK Stamps warrants all sales and will accept returns (no questions asked) within two

weeks of receipt of the lots and will refund the purchase price and associated postage costs.

Where notified within two (2) weeks of the purchase time, extended returns are allowed on

items being forwarded for expertising (where expertising costs are to be borne by the buyer).

PTS7-01. Scott #14. Two different Forgeries of the 1863 5c issue. Left stamp with exceptional margins and light bogus cancel (scarce). Right stamp with commonly found tight margins, slightly grubby appearance but very nicely placed partial bogus circular cancel. Nice combination. Gooding #14F1 and #14F4.

PTS7-09. Scott #38. Used Vertical Pair with super crisp Mangaldan, Pangasinan Crown Cancel centrally struck across the stamps. This is perhaps the finest postally used stamp known with the scarce Crown Cancel. Botom stamp also showing Missing Period below 'o' of 'Po' Variety. Great exhibition piece or one for the specialist.

1899 – 1c Regular Issue with Red Bandholtz OB

PTS7-11. Scott #213. Used. Straight right edge with small tiny, nearly invisible, spot in centre. Fresh colour and light 'Victoria' (HongKong) postal cancellation. Only one other recorded for this issue (mint) with lower elevation overprint. This is most likely the only used example of this very rare overprint. According to Coughlin’s catalog of Bandholtz OB overprints only one was produced.

With PF Certificate of Authenticity. Stating: Used, red Bandholtz OB Overprint, Town Pmk. We are of the opinion that it is genuine, with a thin spot at center.

PTS7-30. Three commercial covers, all showing official usage. Top cover with National Museum corner card and official stamps affixed to cover (21 April 1953). Second and Third covers with normal issues handstamped 'GO' or 'OB'. Bottom cover opened rough on left side and toning around edges. Normal creases also noted. Interesting usage and nice specialist lot.

Federal Republic of Mindanao Unissued Stamps

PTS7-32. Mint (OG, NG).10c blue Imperf Tete-Beche pair of the unissued but proposed Federal Republic of Mindanao stamps. Some minor blue ink smudge on reverse, most likely from lying on wet sheet during the printing process. Vibrant and excellent margins. A much sought after issue.

The Federal Republic of Mindanao is a proposed country encompassing Mindanao, Palawan and Sulu. The independence of the republic was to be proclaimed at a convention in Cagayan de Oro on April 25, 1986 by the Mindanao People's Democratic Movement led by Reuben Canoy. However, original plans to proclaim the proposed republic's independence were changed to avert arrest by the Corazon Aquino administration due to violation against Sedition Law.

PTS7-33. Unissued Federal Republic of Mindanao Tete-Beche Pair on commercial cover to Manila. An additional 1p stamp affixed to 'officially' pay the postal rate to Manila. Stamps tied by Cagayan de Oro (25 October 1989) duplex cancel. Minor tone spots noted otherwise a very interesting cover. Only around ten covers with these stamps known.
