The Space: Bank Chambers

The Story:Creating Profolk

Number 14 Market Place was built in 1868 for the Bank of Stockport by local architect T A Allen. The bank was later acquired by The National Westminster. Grade 2 listed, the building maintains many original features including stained glass windows, marble columns and three security vaults.

Stockport is going through a period of exciting change. The lack of true collaborative work space for new and small business led to the establishment of Profolk. Creative, technology driven workspace located in Stockports most exciting location, Market Place. Bank Chambers, one of Stockports most iconic buildings is home to Profolk.
