Office of Student AffairsStudent Services Graduate Assistant

The mission of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy is to improve the quality of life for

people and their communities in the U.S. and abroad. The Price Schools Office of Student Affairs

is seeking a graduate assistant to start August 5 th , 2013. The graduate assistant will join the StudentServices team, working primarily with two full-time staff members.

Responsibilities : Create and maintain a scholarship database; Attend and assist in one-on-one

scholarship advisement meetings; Assist in planning and execution of admitted student events,

commencement, and orientation events; Update Price Student Affairs website content; Create

promotional materials; Create and distribute Student Services assessments through Qualtrics;

Attend monthly student leader meetings; Maintain positive contact with Price faculty and staff; and

additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications : PASA student preferred; Organized and creative; Experience or interest in event

planning; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and

follow through; Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (word, excel, publisher)

The position will require approximately 15-20 hours/week and pays $12/hour. Work study is

preferred. The position can be used as a paid fieldwork opportunity. If interested, contact Megan
