1988 Duchally Country Estate, Perthshire, ScotlandWe expand into the UK with Duchally Country Estate. A hotel set in 27 acres of Perthshire woodland, we extend the accommodation offering with 55 new lodges.

2003Paradise, Tenerife, SpainOur second Tenerife resort, Paradise, opens on the popular tourist destination of the Costa Adeje in the south of the island.

2001 Sunningdale Village, Tenerife, SpainWe venture into the Canary Islands by acquiring and opening Sunningdale Village. Our first Tenerife resort paves the way for future expansion on the island.

2004Alpine Centre, Saalfelden, AustriaIn our 20th year of business, we open our 20th resort - Alpine Centre. With the Austrian Alps as a backdrop, the resort offers our members a brand new holiday experience.

1998 San Diego Suites, Costa del Sol, SpainWe continue to expand by opening our first California Beach branded resort, offering our most stylish accommodation to date.

2003Monterey, Tenerife, SpainExpansion on the island of Tenerife continues with our third resort Monterey, offering fantastic views across the ocean to La Gomera.

1984 Las Farolas, Costa del Sol, SpainFounded on the Costa del Sol as Club La Costa, we open our first resort, Las Farolas, consisting of 10 apartments.

1986 Marina del Sol, Costa del Sol, SpainOur second resort, Marina del Sol, opens. Further expansion on the Costa del Sol takes the number of resorts to six by 1998.

2006Trenython Manor, Cornwall, EnglandOur first English resort, an historic manor house with lodges, opens in Cornwall adding to our expanding accommodation portfolio.

2009 Apollonium Spa & Beach, Aegean coast, TurkeyFurther diversity of holiday experiences and locations continues with a beachfront spa resort on Turkey’s Aegean coast.

2013 Canaltime, Midlands, UKThe British Waterways open up to our Members with the acquisition of Canaltime, an alternative water-borne holiday experience.

2007Yacht Club, The Seven SeasWe set sail with our fleet of yachts exploring the beauty of the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas.

2012Kusadasi Golf & Spa, Aegean coast, TurkeyAnother first for CLC World Resorts & Hotels is the launch of our first golf resort, expanding our holiday experience portfolio with an 18-hole course.

2020Santa Barbara Heights, Costa del Sol, SpainOur most contemporary real estate development to date, Santa Barbara Heights, opens. The 50 apartments sell out in record time.

2007 Malibu Mansions, Costa del Sol, SpainWe add a real estate division to our company operations. Malibu Mansions, our first development, sells out.

2011Encantada, Florida, USALocated close to Orlando’s theme parks, Encantada is the first of our USA resorts in the Sunshine State.

2015 Regal Oaks, Florida, USAOur second Florida resort opens. A mixed-use resort of real estate and Member accommodation, it is located close to the major theme parks.

OUR COMMITMENT TO OTHERSBRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER

Founded in 1999 (and formerly known as The Smile Foundation), our longstanding charity organisation exists to support the local community and help those most in need. How? By tackling social issues through sponsorship, fundraisers and donations. We proudly collaborate with local charities such as:

ADIMI Working together to address a lack of social support for disabled children, Fundación CLC World contributed €1.6million towards a state-of-the-art, professional day-care centre. Named after our late co-founder, the F. Cruz Dias-ADIMI Centre offers respite for families who devote their time to caring for these children.

Ronald McDonald House Málaga

Collaborating with Casa Ronald McDonald Málaga, in 2018 we sponsored the centre's open day and the Lion Room accommodation, which provides a home-from-home environment for sick children and their families.

AECC

In support of Cancer Awareness Month 2019, we raised a grand total of €25,200 by getting stuck into car washes, bushtucker trials, bake sales, parties and more. €15,000 was donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), and €10,200 went to Walk for Life Foundation, to support its fight against breast cancer.

Cudeca Fundacion

Fundación CLC World raised funds to buy a new vehicle for the Cudeca Foundation, a charity that relies on transportation to care for people with cancer in Málaga.

Down Tenerife

Improving the lives of children and young adults with Down syndrome through assistance programmes, we work closely with Down Tenerife to match the funds raised each year for World Down Syndrome Day. In 2019, the charity received €10,000.

In addition to Fundación CLC World, we also partner with charities to offer precious holiday experiences for families to have ‘time away to come together’. Since launching in 2016, CLC World Charity Holidays has donated hundreds of weeks of accommodation.

WHERE I’M ABLE TO,I WILL GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITYRoy Peires, FounderCFHF

CLC World Charity Holidays started working with the Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund (CFHF) in 2016, providing accommodation to children with CF and their families so that they can spend time together away from the daily routine of physiotherapy and medication. CLC World will continue to donate 60 weeks of holiday accommodation to CFHF every year.

Carers Trust

CLC World Charity Holidays donates holiday accommodation for carers in the UK, including Shared Care Scotland and Lanarkshire Carers Centre. We donate an average of 15 weeks every year to help carers have the break they deserve.

Dreams Come True

In 2017, CLC World Charity Holidays launched our partnership with Dreams Come True – a UK charity whose mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people with serious medical conditions – offering over 30 weeks of holiday accommodation every year, including a yearly group trip to one of our resorts in Orlando.
