« BELCANTO - The Luciano Pavarotti Heritage » is a concert carried by talented opera singers selected by the Pavarotti Foundation.

Belcanto concert presents unique and original performances of opera airs, traditional songs Neapolitan and international contemporary compositions arranged with the aesthetics and Italian style of “Belcanto”. Belcanto tells the story of this vocal style created in Italy, and then traveled around the world to finally arrived in America, influencing the musical theater and many current artists.


Belcanto is an opera from the legacy of Luciano Pavarotti.

The musical and scenic view is exceptional, And the show staged talented opera singers selected by the foundation Luciano Pavarotti.

Created in 2007 by Nicoletta Mantovani, tenor’s wife who still cultivates the memory of Luciano Pavarotti, the foundation perpetuates the Maestro memory.

The show combines unique and original performance of the great opera arias. On Puccini arias, Verdi, Bizet, Mozart, Rossini, Lehar, through Lloyd Weber.

Traditional Neapolitan songs and contemporary compositions are realized according to aesthetic style of Italian Belcanto.

Fairytale ballets also delight the spectators!



13 singers, six dancers and musicians are on the stage to tell us the story of the Belcanto style, since its establishment in Italy, ist journey through the world until its arrival in America and its obvious influence on the musical theater and many current artists.

The genius of Luciano Pavarotti has inspired so many young artists.The fairy tale is perpetuated with one of the biggest story of the opera.

The choreography of Belcanto show is signed by Vittorio Biagi, former star of Maurice Béjart.

For the staging, designed by Claude Tissier, artistic director of Cirque du Soleil for over a decade, it has been revised and corrected by Gianfranco Covino.



Belcanto is a musical theater show that pays tribute to the Italian belcanto vocal style.

Belcanto has survived throught the centuries, going beyond national borders until today.

The show unfolds on six thematic panels that trace the steps that have marked the history of Italian belcanto:

The real protagonists of Belcanto are 12 young singers who were selected in collaboration with the Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti:
